PROJECT PORTFOLIO (2024-25)
Dear students

As part of the English practical exam for the session 2024-25, you are hereby instructed to
prepare a project. The details are being shared herewith. For further queries contact your
respective subject teacher.
Project report will be based on Podcast/ Interview/ Radio or TV documentary

The students have to listen to a podcast/interview/ radio or TV documentary and prepare a


report countering or agreeing with the speakers. Prepare a report in about 800-1000 words and
submit it to the teacher concerned on the due date (11.11.24). Date of viva will be announced
later on.

Project Portfolio/ Project Report

The project portfolio is a compilation of the work that the students produce during the process
of working for their ALS Project . The Project may include the following
PROJECT FILE ( BLACK A’4’ SIZE THREAD FILE)

Page 1: School details & detail of students ( page is attached in the pdf for print out)
Page2 : Cover page with the title of the project .
Page 3 : Acknowledgement
Page 4 : Index page
Page 5: Statement of Purpose /Objectives / Goals.
Page 6: Certificate of completion under the guidance of the teacher. ( Ms. Nishi Johari)
Page 7: PROJECT/REPORT DETAILS(Graphics and pictures to be pasted on left hand side and
content of the report to be written in your own handwriting on right hand side of the page .
Photographs that capture the positive learning experience of the student • Word limit-800-1000
words.

Kindly keep the following points in mind:

1. Quality of the content.

4. Marks will be given on the basis of spellings, grammar, punctuation, clarity of thoughts
and ideas, creativity.

PROJECT TOPICS
Students have to make pictorial as well as graphical presentation on left hand side of the
file. All data should be collected authentically and hand written essay of 1000 words on
right side.
Suggested Topics: Students may select ANY ONE topic of their choice
(1) Life of children in slum area
(2) Child Labour condition in India
(3) Investigation on students reading habits
(4) Interview with a parent of a teenager facing adolescent issue
(5) Internship a need for teens
POINTS NOTED BY THE EXAMINER WHILE TAKING VIVA:

(Fluency, Vocabulary, Pronunciation & Grammatical Accuracy)


1. Are you able to understand and answer questions independently?
2. Are you able to give appropriate responses in a conversation?
3. Are you competent enough to use multiple tense?
4. How comfortable are you when speaking & expressing yourself?
5. Are there appropriate pauses and gaps in the way a student
speaks (confidence)
