music. The results are shown in the table.

3. A man is playing Spin-the-Money-Wheel Game. Suppose he is given the chance to
spin the money wheel twice during his turn. There are 24 slots on the wheel. Refer
to the spinner below to answer questions a and b.

a) Find the probability that he will get more than $500 on his first spin then he
go bankrupt on his second spin.

b) What is the probability that it lands on “Lose A Turn” on his first spin then
lands on the highest prize on his second spin?

If a person is vaccinated, the probability of him/her having a certain disease is


0.05. Without a vaccination, the probability of having a disease is 0.35. Assume
that 40% of the population is properly vaccinated.

Psychology, and 31 students in AP Chemistry. 8 students’ study both in AP French
and AP Psychology, 10 students study both AP Psychology and AP Chemistry, 5
students study both AP French and AP Chemistry, and 3 students study all three
courses.

A) Complete the Venn diagram below.

Psychology but not in AP French or AP Chemistry? Leave your answer as
a percentage.
c) What is the probability that a student takes an AP course other than the

7. Event M shows that a randomly selected student at a university uses MasterCard

for the school paper. There are 27 student council members who are on the honor
roll and 25 that write for the school paper. What is the probability that a randomly
selected member is both on the honor roll and writes for the school paper?
