SHORT COURSE CALENDAR FOR THE YEAR 2024

The University of Dar es Salaam is the pioneer University in the country. It has occupied the enviable
position of molding the cream of the human capital and leadership of this country and the region,
and has consequently been a think tank of our nation.

The university has staff with diverse skills and expertise. These experts have wide capacity to
share experiences with the industry in order to boost our economy. In continuing to provide the
top-notch training, the University of Dar es Salaam has produced a short courses calendar (2024)
which highlights the timing of the short courses that can be offered to individuals in private and
public organizations.

These courses have been created to arm individuals with critical skills and knowledge that are
important in today’s diverse job market. Our courses provide real-world experience so that one can
immediately take new knowledge and skills and apply them to their surroundings. This calendar is
also available at our website (www.udsm.ac.tz).

Duration and Costs


The courses run between three and five days. The costs range from TZS 500,000 to TZS 3,500,000
depending on the nature and duration. These costs cover materials, certificates and refreshment
during the training.
