The new EU regulations concerning hinges state that any hinge that is fitted to a fire escape door, or a fire-resisting door, must have been tested CE Marking of Hinges
to BS EN1935 and covered by a third party certification scheme. BS EN1935 2002
Products bearing the CE mark are recognised as having been tested to BS EN1935 and have passed all of the necessary test criteria. BS EN1935
