Career Opportunity

A reputable pharmaceutical distribution (Wholesale) company is seeking to recruit an


innovative individual to join its dynamic team in providing excellent services to its
customers and other stakeholders as follows:
1. Warehouse Assistant
Department: Operations Reports to: Operations Manager
Directly Supervised by: Unit Supervisor Unit: Picking Area and Full box Area
Job Family: Sales Level: Junior
Job purpose: To receive goods, pick invoiced goods, facilitate proper storage of these goods as per
the standard operating procedures.
Essential Duties:
 Ensure correct and neat arrangements of products on their shelves per their coded locations.
 Perform regular stock checks to increase the accuracy of stock quantity.
 Pick client’s orders and restock notes on time.
 Partake in the reception of goods.
 Ensure a clean and safe working environment.
 Unload and unpack boxes.
 Check incoming products against invoices.
 Maintain proper records of operating equipment eg. Forklift
 Do daily random counts of the stock to check for any discrepancies damages and/or expiries and
report to the line manager immediately.

Other Functions
Perform any other aligned duties that may be assigned from time to time.
COMPETENCIES:

Educational Qualification and Work Experience:

 Minimum HND Purchasing and Supplies or its equivalence


 Minimum 1-year working experience.
 Completion of the 1-year mandatory National Service.

Knowledge
 Proficiency in inventory software, databases, and systems.
 Familiarity with modern warehousing practices and methods.
 Ability to operate a forklift will be an add-on advantage.

2. Facility and Maintenance Assistant
Department: Human Resources &
Reports to: Human Resource Manager
Administration
Job Family: All departments Level: Junior
Job Purpose: To conduct routine maintenance checks, assist in the effective Management of
Company Property, and perform basic Human Resource and Administrative duties.
Essential Duties

 Undertake routine inspections on appliances, structures, and buildings to determine if repairs are
warranted.
 Ensure the facility is in a good state at all times.
 Ensure the facility is in general good environmental hygiene.
 Carry out corrective maintenance on detected defects and faults on appliances, structures, and
buildings.
 Report on defects that cannot be rectified for appropriate action.
 Participate in the drawing up of preventive maintenance schedules and play an active role in the
execution of the maintenance schedule.
 Assist in the compilation of assets register/inventory.
 Ensure efficient management of tools and materials assigned for work.
 Prepare and submit weekly/monthly report maintenance reports and recommendations.
 Ensure all faulty equipment and machinery are reported to the appropriate person for repair works.
 Ensure the signing and renewal of maintenance service contracts.
 Assist in Human Resources and administrative duties.
Other Duties
Perform any other allied duties that may be assigned from time to time.
Competencies:

Educational Qualification and Working Experience


 Minimum requirement of HND Estate Management or Civil/Structural/Materials Engineering or
related courses.
 Completion of 1-year Mandatory National Services.
 Minimum 2 years of working experience in a similar position

Technical
 Experience in building/facilities management.
 Experience in implementing and monitoring formal reactive, planned, and preventative
maintenance schedules.
 Ability to identify site defects, diagnose their cause, and propose remedial action.
 Knowledge and management of structure and electrical service.
 Experience in Inventory Management.
 Ability to provide good technical advice to Management.
 Excellent Computer skills.

Personality
 Ability to work effectively both independently and as a member of a team.
 Ability to pay attention to details.
 Ability to think on one’s feet and react appropriately to situations.
 Possess clear and concise written and spoken communication skills.
 Ability to persuade/negotiate with contractors/suppliers about products and services
