CG Consulting and Design Responds to Client Dispute, Reaffirms Commitment to
Transparency and Fairness
Jacksonville, FL – CG Consulting and Design, a trusted leader in the home improvement
industry, is addressing a recent client dispute regarding project cancellation terms.
We value every client relationship and strive to provide exceptional service, guided by clear and
transparent policies. In this instance, our team made documented efforts to address the client’s
concerns. While the client sought to terminate the contract on September 4, 2024, after discussion the
client advised she was reconsidering.
In a continuing effort to complete the contract, CG Consulting spoke with the client on September 19,
2024, seeking a final decision on the project.
Despite numerous conversations and attempts to resolve the matter, the client did not provide clear
directions, and we have not heard from her since that date.
The client did not follow the terms of the contract to advise us of any default or termination.
Clarifying Our Policies
To ensure transparency and fairness, our cancellation policy, which is clearly outlined in the
client’s signed contract, specifies the following:
• Cancellations must be made within three (3) days of signing the contract.
• Notice of default provided by certified letter with a 10 day opportunity to cure the default.
• A 20% cancellation fee applies to cover upfront costs, including designs, permitting, and
materials.
These terms are industry-standard and were reviewed with the client at the time of signing. We
also referred the client to their contract during this process to ensure mutual understanding.

understand that home improvement projects involve significant investments, and we empathize
with the client’s frustration. While we regret the client’s decision, we remain open to further
dialogue to resolve the matter fairly.
