Dear Parents,
Greetings from Datta Meghe World Academy!
At our school, we believe in celebrating all festivals and events—both national and international—regardless
of religion or region. This fosters an environment where students from various backgrounds can share and
appreciate each other's cultures and traditions. With this spirit, we are excited to announce Diwali
Celebration at our school on 25.10.2024 during school hours.

Diwali Celebration

"Happiness is in the air, it's Diwali everywhere.


Let's show some love and care, and wish everyone out there!"

Diwali, the festival of lights, symbolizes giving and sharing, love, and joy. It also marks the beginning of the
winter season. During this festive time, everyone is busy preparing their homes, making special dishes like
sweets and snacks, and shopping for new clothes.

To nurture and encourage the creativity of our students and provide them with a platform to showcase their
talents, the school will organize the following workshops for students of Grades I to IX & XI from
23.10.2024 to 25.10.2024 during school hours.

We look forward to your child’s enthusiastic participation.

Glue, Sketch pen.

24.10.2024 : Food Festival – Flavours of India
India is a place of enormous diversity, whether in terms of language, religion, cultural traditions, or known
for its variety all over the world. these cuisines differ significantly due to differences in soil. vocations. let's
know more about the diversity of Indian food culture.

“Food is our common ground, a universal experience”


Food festivals are celebrated around the world and everyone lives by this quote. To celebrate the Unity in
India’s Diversity on a platter! school is organizing food festival of different regions of India.
In the wake of students getting fascinated to the junk food, which was causing several health problems, the
school encouraged the students to prepare home-made food items of different regions/ parts of the country.

General instructions for students:


1. All students need to participate in some or the other activity.
2. There will be two foods and 1 game stall from each division.
3. Selected recipe of the region assigned should be prepared at home and presented in the school.
4. Selected students for food stall need to bring hand gloves, serving vessels, tissue papers, cooking
apron and chef cap compulsorily.
5. There will be a coupon system for purchasing food and participating in game on the stalls. Per
coupon charges is Rs.20. According to the requirement students can bring the money.
Classwise details of food items and games shall be shared soon.

25.10.2024 - Joy of Giving & Diwali Celebration:


People around the world are waiting for someone to hold them and be there if they require help. The more
we can hold them and give our little time & compassion can make a big difference in their lives.
The joy of giving is indescribable because it takes courage to give something from your life to others.
It is not easy to do something for another person. But if we have the heart to do something for others
without expecting anything in return makes the difference.

The mere act of giving fills a person’s life with joy and his own happiness multiplies. The best part is Joy of
Giving gives a sense of satisfaction after doing your bit for people in your environment.

Each student shall bring one item/material towards their contribution to the Joy of Giving. You can bring
dry snacks, dry fruits, wearable clothes , blankets, cold wear , grocery items, story books, chocolates,
biscuits, daily usable products i.e soap, detergents, tooth brush, tooth paste, comb, shampoo, sanitary pads,
utensils etc . Please note the daily usable products shall be new and not used products.
 Please avoid perishable goods such as fruits and vegetables.
 Students shall submit the same on 25.10.2024.

Students shall come in descent traditional dresses for Diwali Celebration on 25.10.2024
