INTRODUCTION

Organizations today must focus their greatest efforts on being better and
better, this is generated through customer satisfaction, which in turn
makes there a transcendence to increased sales and therefore its profits,
However, it is important to know that the competition exists and that in
order to overcome it, they must concentrate their best efforts on marketing
plans that allow for more in-depth knowledge of customers and thus be
able to reach them efficiently and effectively; It is for this reason that the
work we present focuses on making a proposal for a strategic marketing
plan, taking into account the segmentation of markets, the design of a
portfolio of products, as a sales opportunity to promote them for the
supermarket. . To do this, we will approach, from a marketing perspective,
the study of a company that currently consumers are focused on small
segments.

The business is focused on the retail and wholesale marketing


of food and household products at low prices, offering a variety
and quality of products and quality service, helping the
population of a medium and low stratum to generate a savings
that can be used towards other expenses, in addition to
concessions to other food companies.

THE TYPE OF AUDIENCE TO WHICH THE
PRODUCT IS DIRECTED.

PUBLIC OBJECTIVE: My potential client is all those people who


need to purchase the products of the family basket and
hygiene products. The customer has to know that we exist and
that we have these products available for him to buy.
We must get the customer to accept our product as one of the
appropriate options that can fit their needs. That you value our
product as a possible good option.
The client must approach a point of sale where he can
purchase our product.

MERCABARATO HENDER It will be a totally Colombian company
that will operate in the field of food distribution, in order to
satisfy the needs and expectations of customers, contributing in
turn to the sustainable development of the region in which it
operates.
This constant desire for innovation will be an integral part of the
managerial culture. Your way of doing business will be
characterized by precision when defining and implementing
your strategy and your dynamic and competitive attitude.

SERVICE FEATURES.

Is a supermarket that offers 100% national mass consumer products at low


prices.

Hours of operation: adjusted from 6:00 am to 7:00 pm. People who work prefer
to go shopping on weekends for ease, and especially in the morning hours
because they say that good and fresh products are there.

Payment boxes: it has 4 cash registers for greater agility in the flow of people,
a fast box works to catch a few other products, we have attention for disabled
people, in pregnancy and the elderly.

Service features.

Work teams and facilities: we have a highly qualified staff in food


handling and control offering excellent service. It has enough space to
move, it also has good ventilation, refrigerators in optimal conditions for
storage of cold products.

Hygiene: it has a good cleaning that is carried out daily.

The survey approach carried out was as follows:

6 questions with multiple-choice answers to 31 customers from different socioeconomic strata 1, 2 and 3
when choosing a supermarket.

The questions were the following with their respective results:

1. Choose the type of genre:

In the following graph we can see that 11 men and 20 women participated in the survey, giving a high
participation of the female gender when making a purchase.

2. Choose the type of stratum:

In the graph we can analyze that the stratum that stands out is 2 with 51.61%, 1 with 32.26% and the one that less
participated was stratum 3 with 16.13%. .

3. When choosing a supermarket, look at this one near or far from your home:

We can see that the market sample shows that people prefer to go to the supermarket that is close to their home with 96.7%
and 3.23% think that they prefer it far away.

4. When choosing a supermarket, do you look at whether it is cheap or expensive?

In the graph we realize that people prefer it to be economical, with 100% of the respondents agreeing.

5. When do you buy national or foreign products?

30 of the Colombian surveyed prefer 100% national products, only one person likes to buy foreign products.

6. At the time of billing a product, would you like to be attended by a cashier, a cashier or either of the two?

Analyzing the graph we can see that 28 people at the time of invoicing a product do not see gender distinction but
we also see that 2 people chose to be attended by a woman and 1 person preferred to be attended by a man.
