RULES FOR CASE PRESENTATIONS
1.ELIGIBILITY: 1st year MBBS to CRMI.
2.LANGUAGE: Abstract must be in English.
3.FONT: Use font type Times New Roman, Font Size 12 as a single word
document in a given format.
4.WORD LIMIT: 300 words, including title, author(s) name and their
Institution.
5.CONTENT: The Submitted Abstracts must contain the following:
a.Objectives: State the main Objective of the Case for Presentation
b.Description: Briefly summarize the important Clinical history and
findings of the case.
c.Workup: Details of the workup for the Diagnosis evaluation and
management of the case
d.Conclusion: Mention the importance/ Interesting Clinical facts of this
case.
6.TITLE: The Title of the Abstract must be typed in CAPITAL LETTERS with
the exception of scientific names, which should be in upper – and lower –
case forms and italicized.
7.TIMELINE: All Abstracts must be received before on 16th September 2024.
8.The abstract document must be labelled with Name of
participant_college_ subject
*Example: yugapriyan_ Govt Villupuram medical College_SURGERY
9.Plagiarism is strictly prohibited. If found that the participant has not taken
an original case/real case, they will be disqualified.
10.The case presentation will be followed by a viva voce session by
esteemed faculties of our college.
11.Further details regarding the final round will be intimated to the selected
participants atleast a week beforehand. The PowerPoint presentation must
contain:
A white background,
Relevant photographs can be added
No animations
Judges' decision will be final.
