1. how aware.....
I am increasingly aware of the two opposing "wolves" within my mind. The "negative
wolf" often whispers doubts, anxieties, and urges me towards impulsive reactions.
On the other hand, the "positive wolf" encourages self-compassion, resilience, and
thoughtful responses. Recognizing their presence and influence is crucial in
consciously choosing which one to feed.
1. when was the last time......
I felt disappointed when I reacted impulsively to a disagreement with a friend.
Instead of taking a moment to calm down and communicate thoughtfully, I let my
emotions get the better of me and said some hurtful things that I later regretted
2.
To strengthen my ability to make conscious choices, I practice mindfulness and
self-reflection. I regularly take time to assess my thoughts and feelings,
identifying any negative patterns or triggers. This awareness helps me to pause
before reacting, allowing me to choose a more positive and constructive response.
3.
I feed the negative wolf when I dwell on past mistakes, allow fear to hold me back,
or engage in self-criticism. Negative self-talk and surrounding myself with
negativity also contribute to feeding the wrong wolf.
4.
I feed the positive wolf by practicing gratitude, focusing on my strengths, and
setting realistic goals. Cultivating positive relationships, practicing self-
compassion, and engaging in activities that bring me joy also nourish the positive
within me.
