(v) Section–D comprises of 4 questions of 4 marks each. Attempt any 3.
(vi) Section–E comprises of 4 questions of 5 marks each. Attempt any 3.
(vii) Use of calculator is not permitted.

1) (i) If a box of sweets is divided among 25 children ,they will get 4 sweets
each .How many sweets would each get if the number of children reduced by 5?
(ii) A machine in a soft drink factory fills 840 bottles in six hours .How many bottles
will be filled in five hours ?
2) On a particular day , the sales (in rupees) of different items of a baker's shop are
given below:
oridinary bread : 320
fruit bread : 80
cakes and pasteries : 160
biscuits : 120
others : 40
total :720
Draw a pie chart to represent the above data.
3) Find the least number which must be added to 1750 so as to get a perfect
square .Also find the square root of the perfect square so obtained. OR
4) Find the square root of ach of the following by Division method:
(i) 3136 (ii) 17.64
