1. The outlook, and the enjoyment of the house.
Hello everyone. Today, I‘m going to talk about the design and
structure of my house.
Why did I choose a house in this work? The reason is very sim
ple, just because I get used to designing a house, it’s simple and al
so saves time. And I can try my best to make it exquisite, and it’s ea
sy to satisfy the damages of this work.
So let’s take a look at my house. First of all, It’s a treehouse, b
ecause I think tree houses are always spectacular and beautiful. It’s
like a building which only can appear in novels. And this time, I chos
e cherry blossoms, whose leaves are pink, to build this treehouse.
Every floor will be formed by some strong Pillars. Secondly, there ar
e three floors in total, which means rooms will be separated by diffe
rent functions. Also, there are many environmentally friendly and sp
ecial systems around them.
The first floor is an open air balcony. But there is a cover devic
e at the top of the cooking area. If it rains, you can open it. And ther
e are a lot of stoves, chairs and tables. Even a cherry blossom tree i
n the left half of this balcony. It’s a nice place to barbecue food. Sin
ce it’s an open air place, when you finish cooking, you don’t need t
o worry about the ventilation. Also you can take your food and sit do
wn under the cherry blossom tree. It’s very romantic.
The second floor, It’s the restroom. There are beds, tables, an
d so on. Everything you need for daily life will be here. Also on the l
eft side of this small house. There is a pool separated by a screen.
Across the screen, you can enjoy a natural water shower, because t
here are two holes near the pool. One hole is in the edge. It will tak
e out the dirty water and through a distillation unit. After purification,
it will flow back to the river. The other one is in the top, the tube ther
e will also connect the distillation unit. But this time, the clean water
from the river flows out directly. Also the distillation machine is also
responsible for heating the water. And you can choose whether to t
ake a hot shower or a cold shower. So finally the outlook of the pool
is like a small waterfall. Here you can enjoy the shower, even play
with the water without worry. Since it won’t cause any waste, becau
se the water will be through the distillation to recycle.
The third floor is a single study. There are a lot of bookshelves
and you can choose your favorite book to read. Also, there is a tea t
able in the center of the bookshelves. It means that you can make t
ea when you are enjoying a book.
In conclusion, I want to build a unique, beautiful house but als
o environmentally friendly. And these are all the introductions about

2. Environmental concepts and designs.
First, about the outlook of my house, I choose to design a tree
house. There are three floors in the house in total, and each floor wi
ll be held by three huge steel pillars under the platform, like a triangl
e, because the triangle is more stable than the rectangle. And ever
y pillar will be cast into the ground very deeply. The purpose of it is t
o prove the stability of each floor. Also, I try to make the house still
strong when it faces a tsunami or earthquake. And above the platfor
m, the wall will be made of wood, and near the trunk as much as po
ssible. Since when we face some small earthquakes, the wood is lig
ht so it won’t fall down very quickly. But when we face some strong
winds, we should be careful. That’s why I want to make the floor ne
ar the trunk.
The energy used in this building will be the solar energy and th
e water energy. Most of them are water energy, because it’s imposs
ible that everyday is sunny, the scope of use of solar energy is very
limited. The position of the house is designed near a huge lake, tha
t’s why I think water energy is a good choice. The purpose of using
clean energy is to support global warming problem solving. So I wa
nt to reduce fossil fuels as much as possible.
About the waste management of the house, I try to design a n
o-plastic life. Since plastic is hard to burn, it means the process of t
he burning will produce more carbon dioxide, and it will aggravate gl
obal warming, so it’s necessary to give up using plastic. Like every t
ime when I do some shopping, I should bring my own bag instead o
f asking for the disposable plastic box, and there will be no plastic r
ubbish in this house. Also, the rubbish will be sorted as recycle and
no-recycle. The recycled rubbish will be transported into relevant de
partments. And no-recycled rubbish will be burned in a garbage du
mp.
The water management of the house. The most crucial feature
is recycling. There is a big machine near the root of the tree, to purif
y the water. The principle of this machine is distillation to obtain clea
n water. And all the water comes from the lake. First, the water will
pass through the machine. And I can get clean water to use in my d
aily life. There are many tubes in the trunk, these tubes can transpo
rt the water to each floor and each room. And the dirty water will be
collected in other tubes. The dirty water will also pass the machine.
After that, some of them will be used to moisturize, some of them wi
ll go back to the lake.
The dealing of carbon dioxide in this house is quite unique. Th
e carbon dioxide inside will be collected into a small room. After tha
t, some of them will be condensed into dry ice, and transported into
industries, and be used in the industry activities. Some of them will
be released into the big tree for photosynthesis in daily life. Also the
re is an automatic ventilator through every floor and every room. It c
an detect carbon dioxide concentration everytime. Once the carbon
dioxide concentration exceeds normal values, it will remove the car
bon dioxide and replace it with oxygen from the outside, that’s why t
his house can collect carbon dioxide.
The position of this house is near the lake, which means this tr
eehouse is relatively independent and a little far away from other pe
ople’s residences, so the house won’t disturb other people in comm
on. Also, this house uses clean energy and recycles the water. So it
won’t pollute the environment. In daily life, we can’t kill any animal i
n the forests just for our interests. On the contrary, we should prote
ct them, but not disturb the natural rules of the animals. So this hou
se, just like any animal in the forests. It won’t pollute or disturb the e
nvironment, just live normally, and become a part of the natural circl
es.
About the transportation of the house. Although it’s a little far a
way from other houses. But it’s OK, because there is a train station
near the house, within 10 minutes walk. So you can take the train to
other places. Also, there are wide roads outside, so you can drive y
our car if you want. Also, there is an express station near the train s
tation, so you can do some shopping on the internet like normal.
