A day at the zoo

Last Saturday, Ali joined the school Nature Club to help in a zoo. It was a day that he
would not forget.
Ali and his friends went to school before 8.00 a.m. and they started their journey at
8.30 a.m. After an hour, they reached the zoo. A few staff in blue uniforms met them at
the entrance. They gave each of them a brown jacket to put on.
Then, they started their jobs. Ali helped to clean the elephants while his friends gave
food to the animals. The staff told them that elephants enjoyed eating fruits and leaves,
but they do not eat meat. After that, the staff let them ride on those big grey animals.
His friends were excited about the rides, but Ali was afraid.
During his break, Ali did not want to just sit and rest. He walked around and saw many
animals. There were monkeys on the trees. Then, he wanted to see lions, but they were
resting inside. So, he went to see bears instead.
At the end of the day, Ali was tired but happy. He learned so much about animals.
