the other person to combine them using relative clauses.

Describe a family member who has influenced you a lot.
Example: "The person who has influenced me the most is my grandmother, who always
gives great advice."

Talk about a vacation experience that you will never forget.
Example: "The vacation that I will never forget is the one we spent in Italy, where we
visited many historical sites."
3) Entertainment
Describe a movie or TV show that you recently watched and enjoyed.

Using Relative Clauses: Set 2
1) Technology
Describe a gadget that you use every day and cannot live without.
Example: "The gadget that I use every day is my smartphone, which keeps me connected
to my friends and family."
2) Food and Cooking
Discuss a dish that you enjoy cooking or eating.
Example: "The dish that I enjoy cooking the most is spaghetti carbonara, which is both
delicious and easy to make."
3) Sports and Exercise
Talk about a sport that you enjoy playing or watching.
Example: "The sport that I enjoy playing the most is basketball, which helps me stay fit
and active."
4) Nature and Environment
Describe a place in nature that you love visiting.
Example: "The place in nature that I love visiting is the beach, where I can relax and enjoy
the sound of the waves."

This exercise provides further practice with sentence formation and relative clauses covered in the previous tasks.
Circulate and help as needed.

4. Practice 3: Pair work

This task can be done in pairs or in small groups - in this case, try to split the students into an even number of
groups. Students can write their prompts down and exchange the papers, first to complete the sentences and
then again to check.

5. Cue Cards: Discussion
10-15 mins.
Set 1: Encourage students to use additional relative pronouns like "whose" and "whom" if appropriate.
Monitor the class during the activity to assist with any difficulties and provide on-the-spot corrections.
Adjust the difficulty of the task by providing more complex prompts for advanced students or simplifying for those
who need more support.
Set 2: Distribute the new set of cue cards to the students. Each student or pair of students will receive one card.
Instruct the students to create sentences or short paragraphs using the prompts on the cards, making sure to
include relative clauses.
Encourage students to be creative and share personal experiences or opinions related to the prompts.
Sharing and Feedback (10 mins)
After students have created their sentences, ask them to share their sentences with the class or in small groups.
Provide feedback on their use of relative clauses, correcting any mistakes and praising correct usage.
Wrap-Up (5 mins)
Summarize the lesson by highlighting the importance of relative clauses in making sentences more descriptive and
