and also lists whether or not temporary screening is required for initial fluid circulation.

3. 18 mesh, 0.018 in. wire, 0.037 in. opening carbon steel screen (cut to suit in the field) shall be inserted in the strainer screen basket
for initial circulation only and then removed.
4. 18 mesh, 0.018 in. wire. 0.037 in. opening screen (cut to suit in the field) shall be of the same as the permanent screen material.

9. Duplex strainers may also be used for services other than those listed when frequent cleaning without tlow interruption is necessary.
