THE COMPANY
Jamia lubricants industries is a (PVT) Ltd company established with an authorized capital of Rs
10.0 million. The company is owned by Al-RAHIM TRADING group which is currently handling
three major bulk liquid terminals at Kemari and also owns pipe line from KPT to its three locations.
They also own an oil marketing company with name “Al-Noor Petroleum (Pvt) Limited” and
establishing its retail outlet network with logo of N3 across the country. The company has abundant
experience in handling petroleum products including lube base oil, blending and marketing of
finished lubricants as per international specifications. Jamia has also exported lubricants to Mid-
Eastern and South Asian markets.
LOCATION
The plant is located in SITE Karachi and is approachable from various points such as KPT Kemari
and main Trucking stands. Northern by- pass and layari express way are situated on main
approaches to the plant location.

The Jamia lubricant industries (Pvt.) Ltd currently engaged in blending of conventional to high
grade lubricants for third party toll blending. We have been supplying our expertise to following

JAMIA Lubricants has the technology to blend consumer and commercial automotive, industrial
and mining lubricants and other ancillary chemical products.
These products meet and exceeds local as well as international specifications for various lubricants
such as API, ASTM, ISO and VG, etc.

AVAILABILITY OF BLENDING COMPONENTS
Uninterrupted availability of base oils and additives are essential for blending and marketing
operation. We maintain adequate stocks of above items. In case of shortage in local market, we
have facility to import base oil in tankers and store at our terminals at kemari. Similarly additive
which are not readily available in local market can also be imported to meet the specific demands.
FACILITIES
Our blending plant is equipped with:
1. Six base oil storage tanks with total capacity of over 850 m/t
2. Blending capacity of plant per year 8000 M/T in single shift operation.
3. Two blending kettle equipped with agitators/propellers and is also supplemented with forced
circulation system. Each kettle has a capacity of approximately 25000 liters.
4. Additional facility to store finished products in three service tanks of 5000 liters each.
5. Additive storage and decantation tank.
6. Semi-automatic filling machines for 0.7 to 20 liters packing. (Two separate lines)
7. Heat sealing machines for aluminum seal.
8. Semi-automatic drum filling machine.
9. Seaming machine for round cans up to 4 liters. (Two separate lines)
10. Shrink wrapping facilities for both POF films and PVC sleeves.
11. An oil heater of 500, 000 kcal capacity is available.
12. Inject printing machine for on line printing on cans, cartons etc.
QUALITY CONTROL
We put special emphasis on quality control. All base oil and additive are tested before each receipt
for their conformity to specifications. All blended products are also tested as per customer’s
requirement before they are filled into drums/containers. Our standard test report Performa is
enclosed. However, if there is a specific requirement on regular basis this can he added to the
present set up of laboratory. Quality specific requirements, that arc on as and when required basis
are met through outside independent lab such as H.D.I.P on cost basis. Batch reports for complete
orders are available to customer. For individual batch reports minimum batch order of 15000 liters
is required.
The following tests are performed in our laboratory as under:
1) Color test ASTM 1500
2) Viscosity baths at 100 C and 40 C for determination viscosities and viscosity index.
3) Flash Point apparatus.

4) TBN AND TAN apparatus for determination of base number and acid number.
5) Hydrometers for testing specific gravity of products.
6) Pour point apparatus.
7) Furnace for determination of Sulfated Ash in products.

TECIINICAL MAN POWER
The plant operation including purchasing of raw material, additives, base oils, production and
quality are controlled by well qualified Chemist who has rich experience of 20 years for working at
PSO blending plant.
All operations are supervised by a highly qualified person who has over 30 years of experience in
major multinational such as BP, CALTEX, and PSO for blending / development of lubricants
products.
ADMINISTRATIVE AND ACCOUNTING
Standard administrative and accounting procedures are employed; our own staff is fully conversant
and qualified to handle such procedures. The taxation matters are handled by tax-professional. Our
plant is registered with ministry of petroleum and natural resources, H.D. I.P and excise and sale
tax department.
HSE PROCEEDURE
HSE procedures are adopted to meet the company in house standard requirements. Company
plans to go for ISO certification for HSE and quality control and hope to achieve that with in next
few months.
