making a deposit immediately to bring your account to a positive balance.

your debit card at a merchant.
We have alternative, less expensive methods to handle overdrafts that may be a better service for you. We also
encourage the use of our free services to manage your account balances, including online banking, mobile app

Non-sufficient funds (NSF) item fees are based on our current published fee schedule. The current fee for each NSF item is
$29.00. "Items" include checks, preauthorized debits, point of sale (POS) transactions, automated clearing house (ACH) and
other electronic withdrawals and transfers, and online bill payments. Repayment of negative balances must be made within
45 days,unless subsequent arrangements are made with the credit union. Paying overdrafts is discretionary, and Meritrust
reserves the right not to pay. For example, we typically do not pay overdrafts on accounts not in good standing, accounts with
no regular deposits, or accounts with too many overdrafts. A prolonged negative balance in your account may result in
account closure, which could disrupt deposit of your federal benefit payments or other automated deposits.
