There are two Freudian perspective about steve relationship, the internally motivated in which the aim

of a person is gratification, own satisfaction and personal happiness. Furthermore the externally
motivated person in which you'll attain your goal as it comes from a source outside yourself like rewards
and always expecting to have something back. Thus steve relationshp with women is both internally
motivated and externally motivated as steve having his own gratification, satisfaction and personal
happiness by having sex with the women. In addition it is externally motivated relationship as steve
attain his goal from the women he bedded with, as he was rewarded himself by thinking that when a
women goes out with him and have fun then he is attractive. Steve's system of personality that were
most motivated is Id, in which Id serves as a pleasure principle that seek pleasure without the regards
for what proper or just. Also Id have this primary process that blindly seek the pleasure principle. So as
steve Id seeks for pleasure even right or not so he keep doing what he isn't supposed to do, as long as
steve can satisfy his Id.

Freud has three (3) levels of awareness, the unconscious, conscious and preconscious in which freudian
theory believed that Steve isn't aware of why he interacts with women, just in the matter of sexual
basis, he might be doing it but he isn't aware of the reason why this is his behaviour. I believed that it is
unconscious state of consciousness in which our drives, urges that beyond in our awareness is a form of
unconscious, hence steve cannot distinguish why he behaved like this as he just thinking about his own
satisfaction that is one of the reason why he doesn't know come up with knowing why he's always
change woman to woman.

Freudian psychic energy that motivates Steve's relationship with women is the term libido, which he
used to describe a sex drive/s. As steve changes women most of the time, he did not have a strong
feelings of connection towards them; maybe it has. However he declined that feelings as steve
remembered the deprived moment of his mothers love steve deserved. And if he will acknowledge, then
his unconsciousness will think that, in the end they're the one that will leave. He bedded women and
leave them after, as his sex drives and the deprived of attention leads him to abandon the women he
met for survival. His unconscious self saved him to avoid the happenings in the past in which Steve is
hurt and deprived to attention.
Freudian Stages of development consist of 5 psychosexual stages in which steve has been fixated in
phallic stage, fixated is a form of permanent attachment if its not apply correctly the stages of
development just like steve that he has a issue in his mother in which his mother didn't gave him the
demonstrative affection and loving interaction he craved. Furthermore he keep leaving the women if
they are done having sex or he is breaking up with her which is a result from fixation in the phallic stage
in which even he is adult he still looking for that love nevertheless he is afraid to be ignored so in order
for him to avoid that, then he is the one breaking up or leaving frst. He keep leaving the women if they
are done having sex or he is breaking up with her which is result from the deprivation of his mother love.
Specifically the unresolved Male Oedipus Complex in which younger Steve want his mother but his mom
deprived him from that causes him to be fixated in the phallic stage.
