Instructions – To Be Strictly Followed:

1) Please ensure you carry the following documents with you to the test Center, on the day of Exam:
a. 2 printed Copies of Admit Card (one copy will be retained by invigilator)
b. Your original Photo Identity proof for verification (original PAN Card / Driving License / Passport / Voter ID / College ID Card /
Aadhaar Card)
2) Please read through the COVID Guidelines mentioned in the Admit Card
3) Please carry a copy of signed COVID Declaration
4) Please bring your own Mask, Gloves, personal hand sanitizer (50ml), transparent water bottle, a simple pen or pencil and the exam
related documents (Hall Ticket, ID Card etc.). No other items will be permitted inside exam venue.
5) Per COVID guidelines Drinking Water will not be provided within the exam center.
6) Banned Items: Bags, mobile phones, calculator and other electronic devices are strictly prohibited in the examination hall. The
examination center will not be responsible for safekeeping of these items.
7) Unfair Means: Adoption of any unfair means at the examination hall will result in disqualification from the test and your scores will
not be published. You will also not be able to participate in any subsequent selection process or tests.

You will NOT be permitted to appear for the Exam if you fail to carry the Admit Card and any one of the mandatory documents.

TCS NQT duration is of 120 minutes.

Additionally, candidates who have opted for Subject NQT <Programming> will get additional paper on Programming, for 60 minutes
duration.
It will be a continuous running test combined with NQT (120 + 60 = 180 minutes duration) for candidates who have chosen
Programming. There will be no time break in between.
If you are NOT appearing for Programming Test, you can complete the exam in 120 minutes and leave the exam venue thereafter.

General Instructions
Ÿ Each section in this test have pre-defined time limit as given below.
Ÿ Time saved from one Section cannot be utilized to answer the questions in subsequent Sections - Even if you complete
answering the questions earlier than the specified time limit, you will have to wait for the time limit to expire for that Section to
proceed to the next Section
Ÿ You can take the questions only in the order and sequence in which same is appearing. That is, after only completing the answer
for first question, you will be able to proceed further to view the next question.

Ÿ Hands-on Exercise 1 & 2 – Each can be coded using one of the 5 (five) languages - C, C++, Java, Python and PERL
Ÿ Candidate is required to do coding for the given problem in ONLY ONE language. Candidate can choose any one of the 5
languages, at the time of taking the exam, in the exam screen itself.
Ÿ For programming section, you will have to compile the code and then submit code for Hands-On 1 and then will proceed to
the next Hands-On question

Social Distancing and Safety guidelines for COVID-19
