Do you have a lot of things to do, but you’re feeling overwhelmed and don’t know where to start?
If your answer is “Yes”, You have Vi. She was struggling with it but, She have learned a simple way to
prioritize my tasks in the right order, so She can be more productive and have time for the things that’s
are more matter to me.
Her life saver is: 7 habits of highly effective people of Stephen R.Covey

Chapter 1:A New Beginning

I was excited.
On her first day, I was introduced to my new team.
Everyone was friendly and welcoming.
But as I looked around at the complex diagrams and heard the technical jargon, a wave of doubt washed
over her.

Oh, Could I really can do this?

Sarah knew this job would be a challenge.
With a deep breath, she dove into the world of procedure, code, and pipelines, pressure vessels, and risk
assessments.
Chapter 2: Overwhelmed by the Challenge
(gap:3s) The first few weeks were a blur of new information.
Sarah felt overwhelmed by the sheer volume of what she needed to learn.

Every day brought new challenges, new software to master, and new terminology.

She started to doubt her abilities.

She felt like she was constantly behind.
Sarah struggled to prioritize her tasks.
She couldn’t remember what she has learned, and she felt the pressure mounting
She knew she needed a way to manage her time and study effectively.
One day, her supervisor, noticing she was struggling, suggested she attend a training session.
It was on a topic she had never heard of- The Seven Habits of Highly Effective People.
Intrigued, Sarah decided to give it a try.
ChAPTER 3: Discovering the 7 Habits
(gap:3s) The training was a revelation.
Sarah learned about the power of proactive thinking,
of taking responsibility for her own actions and choices.
The facilitator emphasized two habits in particular- Be Proactive and Put First Things First.
Be Proactive resonated deeply with Sarah.
It meant focusing on what she could control – her own actions and reactions – instead of feeling
overwhelmed by things outside her control.
The second habit, Put First Things First, taught her to prioritize tasks based on importance, not urgency.
Sarah left the training feeling energized and empowered.
She had a new framework for approaching her work and her life.

Chapter 4 From Overwhelmed to Outstanding

(gap:3s) Sarah started small.

She began each day by identifying her most important tasks and focusing on those first.

She used a planner to schedule her time effectively.

She also made a conscious effort to be more proactive in her communication with her colleagues, asking
for help when she needed it and offering solutions instead of just pointing out problems.

The results were transformative.

As Sarah implemented the Seven Habits, she felt more in control of her workload.
She was no longer constantly reacting to emergencies but was able to anticipate and prevent problems.

Her productivity soared, and her confidence grew.

Sarah's colleagues and supervisors noticed the positive change in her.

She was praised for her proactive attitude and her ability to manage her time effectively.
She had gone from feeling overwhelmed to becoming a valuable asset to the team.
Sarah was determined to share what she had learned about the Seven Habits with others.
She knew these principles could help anyone, in any field, achieve greater effectiveness and fulfillment.

There are 2 factors that define what we do: urgent and important.
 Urgent means that it requires your attention right now and has immediate consequences.
 Important is anything that helps us achieve our own long-term goals and values. These are the
things that will have a big impact on your life. However, since they do not have a clear deadline
and the consequences of not doing them doesn't appear right away, it's easier to tell yourself
"you'll do it later”.
The first step is of prioritizing is to write a list of all the things you need to get done. The next step is to
put each task on your list into one of the following categories:
Steven Covey’s book "7 habits of highly effective people". This method helps you to quickly identify the
activities that you should focus on when you’re under time pressure and it keeps you on track with your
long-term goals.

BOX 1: important and urgent Example: project deadlines, medical emergencies and problems. Strategy:
Do it NOW.
BOX 2: –important and not urgent Example: health, relationships and dreams. Strategy: Schedule and do
it as soon as possible.
BOX 3: urgent and not important activities Example: interruptions, random phone calls/texts,
unimportant emails. Strategy: Reschedule or delegate
BOX 4: not urgent and not important Example: watching TV, checking social media and other time
wasters. Strategy: Do it later or avoid it completely!

Once you know your priorities, organize your life around them.
Your actions reflect your priorities and in order to say yes to them, you have to be willing to say no to
something else. We all have 24 hours.
You always have time to do what you believe is important. It's about respecting your time. And setting
your priorities right is a great way to start!

Thank you for watching and I'll talk to you next time! :) "To change your life – change your priorities."
