Saving Water

Water is very important to us. We use water to drink, wash, cook and have a

The Dark

Hi, I’m Paven. Last weekend, there wasn't anyone at home but me. My
parents went to their friend’s party. I felt happy because I can see my
favourite actors on television. It was a sad movie.

It was really cold. I went near the fire to make myself warm. I planned
to read a storybook. Suddenly, the lights went off. I walked to the kitchen to
get the torchlight. At that time, I heard a loud sound. I was afraid as I looked
everywhere. I could not see anything. There was another loud sound again. I
opened the door.

There was no one at the door, but I saw something came into the
house. I didn’t know what to do. I wanted to call my brother. Right at that
time, my phone rang and mother was on the line. I told her everything and
she said they were on their way home. Then, I saw two cats and chased them
out. It was them that made the sound. After an hour, my parents came back.

of cereal on the table and I ate it.
Sara's Diary

I woke up at 6.30 a.m. today. I had sandwiches for my breakfast. Later, I

went to the movie with my friends. The tickets were cheaper than last
time because I bought them online. The movie that we watched was not
so bad but I will not repeat it again. I went home at 6 p.m. and my father
was waiting for me in the living room.

Today I woke up late at 8 a.m. Yes! It’s school holiday! I am so excited

and really can’t wait to ride my bike with friends, eat ice-cream and play
games. Also, Mum and Dad said we might go to a trip. Last year we went
camping at the lake for a week. I loved the trees and rivers. I think that I
should ask if we can go to the lake again.
