 Set out offset axis for plaster walls location which previously approved to start dots.
 A surveying inspection request shall be submitted to the consultant for final approval.
 Set out a bench mark on a previously approved location leveled to 1.00m from
finishing floor level& protected (location by consultant).
 A surveying inspection request shall be submitted to the consultant for
final approval (checking level)

5.4.2 Application of Internal cement plastering:

 Apply force fully dash coat (450 kg ordinary Portland cement to 1m³ sand) manual on surface
indicated for plaster application, spatter dash coat is to cover full surface and provide
rough surface, spatter dash coat thickness to be approximately 4- 5mm.

 Spatter dash to be cured by spraying water not curing compound for three days to be
continuously wet.

 Bonding agent to be used with spatter dash for smooth surfaces as approved material.

 start applying dots to produce plaster surface level and true, Dots shall be plumb
of 50x100mm dimension and thickness not less 15mm made of cement mortar at intervals
not exceed 2x2m in horizontal and vertical direction, 50cm from ceiling and 50 cm from
F.F.L, Ceiling dots should be at the same level by inspection request.

 Dotes locations should be coordinated with grills or opening.

 Beads & stops shall be fixed plumb, square and true to line & level.

 Install corner beads at all external corners of plaster.

 Install continuous casing beads to determine plaster at head and jambs of doors & windows,
each side of expansion joints.

 Damp the complete area of spatter dash by spraying water then apply one coat instead
