Subject: Notice of Violation improper disposal of hazardous waste and
operation of open dumpsite
This apropos our field inspection conducted at Division Office near Tennis
Court last October 21, 2024, we have witnessed hazardous waste trash has
been disposed improperly. Additionally, operation of open dump site and
traces of open burning are observed. Pursuant to the law that no person,
including LGUs, shall engage in such activities, and violations can result in
legal sanctions.
Ensuring adherence to environmental rules and regulations which is of
utmost importance in our duties in safeguarding public health and mitigating
potential environmental contamination and detrimental impacts.
We would like to request for your detailed response outlining the steps your
office plan to take to address and correct the improper disposal of waste on
the specific location. We look forward to your timely response and swift
resolution of this issue.

requesting for Environmental Compliance Certificates (ECC) on the ongoing
3rd phase near Gogon River of the Virac Town Center (VTC). For presentation

documentation or ECC application that is currently being processed.
