fierce competition. Teams working toward a shared goal learn to value each player's
strengths, celebrate diversity, and build trust—qualities that are vital both on and off
the field.

Moreover, sports inspire a sense of community and belonging. Fans rally behind their
teams, creating connections that span generations and borders. Even rivals often
exhibit sportsmanship and camaraderie, reminding us that the spirit of competition is
not about division but about growth, understanding, and shared experiences.

From local leagues to international tournaments, sports unite individuals from diverse
backgrounds, encouraging dialogue and breaking down stereotypes. In a world often
marked by division, the unifying power of sports underscores the idea that we are
stronger together. Through competition, bonds are strengthened, creating a ripple

with the theme, “Unity in Sports: Strengthening Bonds Through Competition” THE
OPENING CEREMONY.

On behalf of everyone involved, I extend my deepest gratitude to all who made this
event a reality. Your hard work and dedication have truly paid off.
JADE
To formally start this event, we would like to request everybody to please rise and
witness the entrance of our honored guests, PSDSs, School Heads, Technical Officials,
and of course, the delegates.
MARY JOY
Please remain standing and let us come together in unity and pride as we sing our
national anthem. This will be led by Ms. Bonnie P. Arnesto, MAPEH Teacher of Miputak
National High School

This will be followed with an ecumenical prayer and the singing of the Dipolog City
March through audio visual presentations, respectively.

At this moment, we would like to call in Mr. Kent M. Adolfo, Principal IV of Miputak East
Central School, as he delivers his welcome message. Rounds of applause, please.

message.) At this juncture, we will be calling our school heads and sports coordinators
from the West District Clusters A and B for the hoisting of the delegation banner.

The lighting of the friendship cauldron is more than just a ceremony; it is a beacon of
unity, camaraderie, and the enduring spirit of sportsmanship. As the flame is ignited,
it symbolizes the burning passion and determination of every athlete, the shared
commitment to excellence, and the bonds that transcend competition.

This flame represents the warmth of friendship that brings us together, regardless of
differences in background, culture, or skill. It reminds us that in sports, the true victory
lies not only in winning but in forging relationships, celebrating diversity, and inspiring
one another to be our best selves.

As the cauldron burns brightly, let it serve as a reminder that while we may compete
on the field, we stand united in our shared love for the game and respect for one
another. This flame is a testament to the power of sports to bring people together and
illuminate the path of peace, harmony, and mutual respect. Ladies and gentlemen
let’s witness the lighting of friendship cauldron by Arnel He D. Ylanan, Jr., Bronze
Medalist, Palarong Pambansa 2024, Athletics Category.

Ladies and gentlemen, let’s all welcome Sunshine Mae J. Inoferio, 2-time Palarong
Pambansa Qualifier for Volleyball to lead the Oath of Sportsmanship and Amateurism.

this moment, we would like to call in Ms. Rowena N. Maligro, Master Teacher I and at
the same time, our Badminton Zamboanga Peninsula Regional Athletic Association

This time, we will be hearing an inspirational message from our very own Public
Schools District Supervisor for West District Cluster A, Mr. Petrush G. Macute. Rounds

District Cluster B, for the Declaration of the Formal Opening of the 2024 District Meet.

ceremony. To our organizers, volunteers, sponsors, and everyone who contributed
