SPEAKING 8 - SPORTS
Hi, my name is Hân. Actually, I’m a fanatic of sports, especially football or which
is known as soccer in the US but only in watching. Whenever there is a associate
football competitions, I usually watch with my father or sometimes by myself. It’s
a competitive sport and highly requires teamworking. To be honest, I pretty
respect the friendships among these teams. They are really fair-play and also
show their respectful to others, however, sometimes arguments still happen but
they all solve them well. I get involved in sports, too. Swimming, badminton,
volleyball, basketball and even jogging are my cups of tea, but I’m not good at any
sports. I know a bit of them and play them in my free time or in PE classes.
Sometimes, playing sports hurts me a lot. I had a bruise when playing volleyball
or basketball and a sprained wrist when swimming or playing badminton. But
that’s not a matter. I enjoy being hurt sometimes whereas I feel happy, stay
healthy and also stay positive all the time I play sports. There is the most
important thing in one’s life: health - both physical health and mental health. So
we should practice sports to have the best health statement. That’s all. Thanks
