We re-told the last 700 years of Singapore’s history in new and compelling ways. Fortifying national sentiments in
stories, this was a major production that required us to work with multidisciplinary collaborators.Singapore to
Singaporean: The Bicentennial Experience was dedicated to the remembrance of two hundred years of history
that made a nation, with messages crafted, curated and devoted to its people. This two-part showcase beckoned
with stimulating perspectives into history told in a variety of formats, bringing to life snippets of history going as
far back as 1299.

culture to develop its large-scale exhibition centre.The design of the Wuhan Tencent Exhibition Centre brillantly
captures Asia’s largest internet company’s development and excellent results within the tech industry.

China-based property developer Vanke Group launched the Vanke Experiential Hall (VEH) in Kuala Lumpur to
incept its expanding global presence. Primed to build high-quality living spaces that will elevate the local district,
the show gallery is an opportune space to introduce media and public to Vanke's long term development
strategies.
Our collaboration with Rimowa has witnessed the brand developing its presence in all metropolitan. From stand-
alone boutique stores to revamped store outlets in malls, Rimowa’s branding comes with an unparalleled
presence to match its iconic design. Alongside other design houses, we develop store layouts that highlight the
German luggage manufacturer’s fortified craftsmanship.
La Prairie wanted an impressionable booth that succinctly reveal their latest store concept and visual
merchandise at the TFWA Asia Pacific Exhibition & Conference. In client's brief, the theme should elude La
Prairie’s quest for timeless beauty, using the venue to deliver the brand’s bespoke atmosphere and full boutique
experience.
The World Routes Expo is a global conference exploring the most established route development internationally.
An insightful event for the world's leading airports, airlines, tourism and various aviation stakeholders,
outstanding booths at the conference reflect top-grade amenities of the exhibitors. Happening at diverse
locations every year, we follow our clients through the different venue to deliver unique and engaging design. For
over 4 years, we developed the booth design for Shanghai Airport – an organisation that consistently offers
stunning perspectives into the country’s local culture through its booth presence.
Within the monumental space of Asia Civilisations Museum sits a collection of Chinese paintings by Singapore’s
renowned art collector Dr Tan Tsze Chor. Selected and curated for its Chinese ink medium, we made prominent
the very qualities that exudes from the Chinese scrolls by diffusing its characteristic into the museum's
environment.The vast Special Exhibitions Gallery, housed within the Asian Civilisations Museum, presented an
extensive collection of artworks by Singapore’s renowned art collector Dr Tan Tsze Chor. The exhibition explored
the appreciation of Chinese art from the 1950s to the 1980s through the selection of Dr Tan and others in the
Chinese art community in Nanyang. Through their exchanges and networks, the exhibition explored the formation
of Chinese identity occurring in the emergence of Chinese modern art.
The Grace Kelly: From Hollywood to Monaco — Artists’ Tributes exhibition at the Crystal Lobby of Galaxy Macau
traces the story of legendary movie star Grace Kelly, from her Hollywood days as an Oscar-winning actress to
becoming Princess of Monaco. The exhibition was artfully conceptualised to combine different elements of
history, culture, fashion and art, immersing visitors in the heart of the elegance and style of the iconic princess.
A gallery showroom dedicated to significant milestones and events in Singapore’s legal and judicial development,
we worked with Singapore Supreme Court to create the Judicial Heritage Gallery.
A Vietnam office for the world’s largest beverage company instills local flavour through unique furnishing pieces
that weaves dynamic workplace and visitor experience.
The pop-up store was conceptualized to be a container that was modular without compromising design. A round-
the-clock store kitted out with the latest digital-enabled features, service can be called upon through three video-
assisted self-serve kiosks. Notable features include portable multimedia services and purposeful use of each space
within the container.
Situated in Neo Soho, a mall in West Jakarta, Indonesia, the aquarium represents the possibility of exploration
and imagination for families and kids. Integrating attractions and retail space, the touristic spot also encourages
marine conservation of sea creatures.
Supersize fun with Hasbro's first ever multi-brand carnival in Asia. Bringing together childhood favourites from
Monopoly, My Little Pony, and many other precious games - we present a full suite of experiential interaction and
game stations conceptualised for kids to activate all their senses through play and education.
Our first foray into operating an attraction site, we developed Nerf Action Experience Centre. Supercharged with
challenging zones of activities, strategic conceptualisation of games tests dexterity, speed, and team spirit. From
NERF’s iconic blaster to a full blown arena, we ignite adventures across generations who grew up with the brand.
After The Great Room’s successful debut as one of the up and trending co-working spaces in Singapore, the space
expanded its presence to Bangkok’s Gaysorn Tower. Positioning the brand as a swanky new spot for urban
working culture, we crafted stunning views of the place for flexibility and an energized atmosphere.
Singtel's core values underpin their desire to create a unity of purpose across the Group. Reflecting this common
aspiration to foster a learning culture that is open and innovative, the Singtel Learning Centre promotes a space of
mutual trust and engagement. Singtel, Asia’s leading communications group, was designed and retrofitted into
the space of two existing buildings to become a new development centre. Located along Battery Road, the old
four-storey building was bridged with the modern Singtel Tower. Restoring the historic character of the
architecture, we integrated old beauty with contemporary finishes for this new Singtel facility acting as a learning
academy.
Fusing the purposeful environment of a visitor gallery and a talent training centre, modern finishes tap into local
cultural motifs for a touch of affability. The project involved our whole suite of services, from our designers for
concept and design to our engineers for intricate fit-out and furnishing. Overall, we delivered a consistent
corporate outlook of a storied Telco for our client.
A research and facility hub developing environmental sustainability has its first office in Bangkok built according to
the international WELL building standard to revolutionise design, operations and behaviours. The Research &
Innovation for Sustainability Center (RISC) emphasizes social responsibility, driving knowledge and research
towards conservation of nature, energy and water. In accordance with RISC’s requirement and vision, the project
worked with environmentally-friendly materials, adhering to its principle of ‘sustainnovation’ in social, economic,
and environmental aspects.
Transforming flavourful experiences from the first bite to the first store, we were tasked to design and produce a
remarkable pleasure store for Magnum in Korea. The first physical store in the country dedicated to the signature
Belgian chocolate brand, the environment was to encourage time spent in enjoying the luxurious taste and royal
indulgence of Magnum.
The new General Post Office (GPO), the first of Singapore Post’s smart post offices, is a hybrid of a traditional
service store with digital network augmentation to offer round-the-clock access to postal and other essential
services. Supported by technology-enabled innovations such as Pick Own Parcel Station (POPStations) and eSAM
machines, the “future-ready” facilities give customers an improved experience and greater control over available
services outside normal working hours. Adjacent to the GPO is SingPost’s flagship Philatelic Store, a heritage
corner paying tribute to SingPost’s 150 year history. Like stepping into a collector’s store, the space is filled with
nostalgia in its wide range of Singapore stamps, thematic MyStamps and philatelic gifts.
Tasked to design for the new Dian Xiao Er in an exciting new mall, the not-so-desirable narrow shopfront and a
corner position of Dian Xiao Er was hindering the potential of the store’s impression. To provide design solutions
effective for the brand, the conventional layout of Dian Xiao Er was deconstructed and reimagined with
modernised concepts and materials. At a place for travellers and curious locals, the restaurant sets its sights on
being a memorable stopover for visitors.
Combining relaxation and recreation, we present BUDS by Shangri-La - an interactive play space dedicated to
children’s developmental growth. An enhancement of the guest experience under the Shangri-La hospitality
group, the aim was to invent a memorable place for quality time
Nestled within Singapore Changi Airport’s newest and most innovative terminal – T4, Steel in Bloom is a unique
indoor garden that visualises the synergy between nature and technology. Like the fusion with nature that Changi
Airport celebrates, the living garden is coherent with the identity and architectural sensibility within Terminal 4.
The goal was to deliver a multi-sensory touch point offering visitors a quiet respite amidst the hustle and bustle of
the busy passenger terminal. Creating a thought-provoking hybrid display, Steel in Bloom is a novel experiential
garden and a key rest stop for visitors when they enter the terminal.
In collaboration with Discovery Inc. and Science Centre Singapore to create and produce an edutainment
exhibition narrating stories of the animal kingdom and their natural habitat. We traverse rainforests, underwater
ocean, and icescapes in interactive play elements that are activated for a fulfilling wildlife experience. Beyond
providing exploration, the travelling exhibition aims to instill conservation efforts in the young.
The Changi Experience Studio is an interactive experiential space that brings visitors on an exciting virtual
expedition through the past, present and future transformations of Changi Airport right in its cornerstone. A
highly anticipated innovative showcase that is simultaneously a living tribute to the Changi Airport Group as the
world’s most awarded airport and the community behind it.
A permanent exhibition fully-guided by retirees, the Dialogue with Time speaks of the biological and psychological
changes of the human ageing process and social perception of ageing in four distinct zones.
Self-exploratory and immersive learning experiences for the public to uncover the intricate network that runs
Singapore’s transport system. The Land Transport Authority hosted interactive activities and used multimedia
technology to bring about the theme of ‘future mobility’ for a greener and more inclusive transport system.
A unique equestrian facility featuring evolution of horses is housed in the vast 4,200sqm museum space by Heilan
Group. The Heilan Group Horse Cultural Experience Pavilion provides visitors with a multi-dimensional theatrical
setting, immersing in the royalty of valuable horses that have served humans in the history of civilization.
Creating new waves of exclusivity, China sportswear brand 361° dominates athleisure trends in Shanghai with an
event launch supported by STAPLE DESIGN. Bringing together visual impressions and sensorial engagements, the
event unfolded impactful revelation.
Product activation mechanisms and influential social invites boost the event, culminating in a successful initiative.
An exclusive tasting session brought selected guests into a private dinner to introduce the elaborate craft that
represents Glenmorangie whiskey. Connecting with businesses elevating the brand’s promises to its customers,
the exquisite experience was delivered in delicate details.
Singapore’s shopping belt was painted yellow when airline carrier Scoot launched “The Yellow Converter” event
at Wisma Atria’s outdoor atrium.The airline company leveraged its iconic yellow to draw customers into a
courageous and creative pursuit for adventure in exchange for attractive flight offers.
The experiential event for BMW World brought visitors on a specially curated journey of BMW and MINI
innovations and latest models. Taking charge of the 4,200sqm space, each arena catered touchpoints to captivate
visitors.
A global exchange of culture at Beijing International Horticultural Exhibition saw the British Embassy revealing its
horticultural heritage in a garden and pavilion layout occupying 2,000 sqm towards ‘‘innovating for a greener
future’. The project included a five-month programme of activities developed with the British Council and Visit
Britain to inspire environmental management and build a China-England trade relationship.
Vinexpo Hong Kong is the biggest, annual wine and spirits industry event for new and known brands in the
market. Kingsmen contributed to the making of its event through its 10 years, reaching out to exhibitors from 30
wine-producing countries yearly. In 2018, we represented brands and their stories. Namely, Italian brand Vicente
Gandia.
Launching Aston Martin’s Vietnam showroom in a two-days inauguration, the automotive powerhouse needed to
create suspenseful moments while illustrating its heritage during a tour of the space. Unveiling their luxurious
potential was the new car models, the DB11 and New Vantage, and the high-powered ‘predatory’ quality of the
car.
Chang Sensory Trails travel across cities and cultures to tantalise palates! Hosting events across 3 global cities –
London, San Francisco and Singapore, the two-day multi-sensory festival promised to bring visitors on a curated
culinary journey.
Yonex’s second showroom store in Tokyo is devoted to showing high-performing, quality products to its
customers. Beyond informative ,the showroom retail concept emphasises sophisticated display of Yonex’s legacy
and products, encouraging purchases from its extensive collection.
An ambitious space maximising technological capability with inspiration from outstanding infrastructures. The
brand showroom truly exhibits technological potential with the use of projections, holographic imaging
technology, and cloud database to show company excellence. The main intention of this experience center is to
keep Tencent’s business partners or potential partners updated on Tencent’s overall business performance,
development plan and technological advantage. Created as a “window” into Tencent, it is a platform to cultivate
dialogues between Tencent and the world.
Heinemann Asia Pacific is a new confectionary brand entering Asia’s travel retail industry to create a burst of
flavours in retail experience. Eight candy stores conceptualised in the transit and public areas of Hong Kong
International Airport offer whimsical and delightful experience to everyone who steps in. Alongside its thematic
stores of different dreamlands, VR services and social engagements redefined shopping ambience with amusing
and unique engagements.
MONOPOLY DREAMS™ includes a variety of interactive games in a MONOPOLY-themed space, with the game
localised within Hong Kong’s edition. Exploring the attractions as a means to uncover the popular board game’s
history and story, visitors are also immersed in the experience as they try their luck and win prizes in interactive
games.
Designing the DHL Innovation Center in Chicago unlocks a platform to inspire, connect and engage visitors within
the innovative world of logistics – creating new value and solutions for the business and its customers. As a state-
of-the-art facility, the overall design intends to evoke a journey through the logistics support of today and
tomorrow. The modern look complemented by technology solutions of the courier company, is deliberate with its
forward-looking vision.
To celebrate a decade of the overarching cosmetic and skincare beauty-retail concept Sephora in Singapore, a
pop-up space was created with an aim to embody their brand legacy of continuous free exploration. The design
borrows inspiration from 9 notable cosmetic brands and their products to create playful engagement zones for
visitors to enter a ‘beauty-verse’ at every corner. Together with Sephora, and various brand identities, Kingsmen
combined beauty and sophistication into a social, experimental play space.

In Harajuku Japan, the three-story Desigual feeds fresh flavours to the brand’s style.A vision created with
artist Ran Tondabayashi combines to bring a brillant palette and brand image.
The team set out to tell a story that would spark curiosity in people, and encourage them to embark on a
journey of discovery.
Split into five acts spread over two levels of the Fort Canning Centre, the hour-long experience reaches
back over a thousand years in time. The prologue opens on a rain installation that reverses dramatically
to symbolise the journey into the distant past. This sets the scene for the dramatic rise and fall of
settlements and port-cities across South-east Asia. The opening is mirrored in an emotionally charged
finale on a rain-soaked Padang, with dark clouds giving way to warm sunshine over the modern
metropolis Singapore has become.
Preparing background research into Tencent’s company culture and determining what to showcase that
highlights the organisation’s success formula, our designers explore conceptual actions that connect
information with engagement.
Amongst the various zones, the design team also created a customised exhibit – Internet Plus.
This exhibit utilises the Ventuz system and projection mapping to demonstrate the idea of how Tencent
improves lives.
While duty-free experiences are curtailed by air travel restrictions, the concept inspires local tourism to
immerse in the dynamic exploration of the brand.
Additionally, thoughtful execution was necessary to ensure the conservation of Raffles Hotel, fusing
tradition-rich space with elegant experience. The concept birthed for the experience encouraged a
seamless flow; from the beginning through a tunnel of casks down to a final cinematic piece to complete
the journey.
To embody the company’s philosophies, latest innovation and solution, the design maximises wall space
and enable a comprehensive tour of the facility. The hall’s centrepiece is an interactive landscape scale
model of the metropolitan district which promises viewers sustainable development of the city.
In stand-alone boutiques, the architectural structure supports a stately presence for the brand. For
RIMOWA’s flagship store in Myeongdong, Korea, we paid tribute to the brand’s trademark suitcases. The
building façade was made to look like the surface of the brand’s renowned aluminium suitcase, with LED
illumination that accentuated the signature ridged suitcases that RIMOWA is known for.
We consulted city architects and urban landscapers to keep in mind the original architectural integrity of
the building. Beyond working over the facade of the building, the interior forms an oasis when it
integrates the same design, blending the sleek style on selected levels while maintaining the structural
condition of the building.
For a sense of permanence when visualising the new store, the conceptualised build had to be distinct
and unlike an exhibition stand. The same depth in groove lines of the store was executed with precision
to add a refined touch to the booth. Emphasis was placed on achieving top-notch detailing and material
construction. Raw materials were shipped in from overseas and a comprehensive pre-site preparation
was necessary to ensure quality production. To represent a consistent brand image, Kingsmen complied
and adhered strictly to the same finishing as the corporate identity of the HQ back in Switzerland.
In World Routes 2019 in Adelaide, Australia, Shanghai Airport entrances its visitors with a garden scene
that envelops anyone who steps in. With the booth built in likeness to traditional Chinese architecture,
we made use of wooden Byobu structure and used holographic projections to depict mirages of a
bamboo forest.
Meant to emulate the serene gardens of Jiang Nan, the bamboo aesthetic casted on the translucent
screens provide a moment of respite in intricacies of light, shadow, and perspective.
Implying through its stories, Shanghai Airport wants to provide ease and comfort.
To accompany the main exhibition, a series of fun interactive stations allowed for hands-on engagement.
Targeted for younger visitors, guests were able to try their hand at making their very own Chinese scroll,
as well as calligraphy and other creative activities.

While creating a youthful workplace for employees and an exhibition space for guests, the brand’s spirit
and core values get illuminated through conceptual design and purposeful space dedicated to connection
and relaxation.
The modular store occupies a substantial 9 by 6 metres footprint that can be decoupled and freely
transported to another location within a short timeframe. Customers can try out and purchase the latest
phone models and accessories, and recontract or sign up for new plans at self-service kiosks at their
utmost convenience.The container also utilised an automated mechanical extension to further extend the
retail space by another 2 by 6 metres should the event calls for flexibility. Moving from downtown to
neighborhood community, the hybrid service and lifestyle environment is shapeshifting retail
experiences.

A functional and aesthetic consideration was particular for the creation of RISC’s interiors. Collaborating
with the brand to execute its optimised planning of the office’s indoor environment, the space combines
minimalist style with eco-design to embody a concept of holistic well-being.
To emulate a green and resilient environment, indoor plants were utilised and positioned in various
concepts, creating friendly and innovative spaces. Along with timber wood panels across the corridor
walkways, a warmth tone sets the stage for possibilities in environmentally conscious design.

Behind the futuristic revamp, the design of the new GPO incorporates elements from the historic
Fullerton Building GPO, reflecting the continuity of SingPost’s heritage. Iconic elements of the Fullerton
GPO were adopted and translated into modern graphics on the walls, glass panels and POPStation
lockers, while historical postal artefacts, such as earlier versions of the posting boxes, were recreated.
A row of these post boxes line the entrance of the GPO, evoking a sense of nostalgia and illustrating the
design transformation of post boxes since Singapore’s independence. The walls at the new GPO resemble
the grey concrete buildings of the civic district and pendant lights inspired by the colonial era. A clock was
also specially designed to emulate the original clock from the Fullerton GPO.
Dian Xiao Er at Changi Jewel tells a tale of an oriental traveller arriving at the inn. An elevated experience
from its other outlets, the dramatic setting fuses modern sophistication and ancient style.
Substantial attention was given to maintaining a symmetrical composition throughout the restaurant,
accentuating the harmonious balance that resonates throughout oriental architecture. The overall
ambience maintains rich and rustic materials through motifs of timber abacuses, terracotta roof tiles and
natural raw granite. Binding history to the present, these materials complement the authenticity of their
herbal roast duck prepared daily and on display in the modern open kitchen concept.
For a fulfilling playtime, each engagement targets the senses in vibrant colours or play objects. The
dynamic concept also features a wet play area, fully-equipped cooking classroom, a drawing room, and
other amenities to explore the talents and skills unique to each individual.
Steel in Bloom was themed around the idea of synergy between organic forms and mechanical elements.
The centrepiece integrates living horticultural elements while the technology aspect speaks to the
innovative nature of Terminal 4. The garden layout was also inspired by the fluidity of topographical lines,
visually complementing Terminal 4’s ‘petal’ concept architecture as a whole.

Kingsmen played an integral role, co-conceptualising with Milla & Partner and Moment Factory in
presenting the 3,000 sqm zone with over 20 different touchpoints. Each visitor is equipped with an
interactive Travel Guide device, using Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) technology to introduce fresh
ways of unveiling wayfindings guides across different exhibits. Acting as a key to all touchpoints, it
activates games or projection work with intriguing storylines along the way.
Employing multimedia equipment to feature an immersive digital “Amazing Runway”, 180º screen, and

crews, we explored the site from thirteen levels underground. Using this encounter, we delivered
accurate details of the successful railway system across the visual production of the exhibits,

Achieving intimate experience for the brand, Kingsmen planned highlights of the night that left visitors in
awe. As guests and media walked through the space, illustrious sight of Aston Martin’s accomplishment
translated the brand’s capabilities into personally mesmerising moments.
To focus on the moment of revelation, we utilised the limited showroom space and platform weight. In
order to achieve the effect without tech or mechanical alterations, we brought together an arresting live
moment of a regal eagle flying in to surprise the crowd. For the perfect execution, we ran multiple test
runs of the space and performers. The host had to familiarise with the eagle, ensuring that it spreads its
wings on arrival, in the spotlight of the crowd. The showroom was also stress-tested for a secure display

Instead of adopting a darker colour palette, the modest look of the showroom is made up of mortar and
timber, with racquets cleverly suspended from the ceiling. Yonex’s milestones were elegantly moulded on
the wall, taking the shape of a continental map while LED screens were used to stream live events.
Intended as a hub for customers to access the latest release from the brand or be involved in live events
of the season, the store has been differentiated for hospitality concept.
The impressive build featured transparent sliding LED screen doors complements the grandeur and
spaciousness of the halls. Additionally, the audio-visual theatre room sported a star-spangled ceiling
created with fibre-optic lights, immersive arc screens, and a simulation of the lunar surface to resemble a
galaxy.

century, we work with M-Integrated Solutions (M-IS), the main design house,
to complete technical execution in drawings and structural systems in tents
and supply units. Considering environmental conditions, we reinforced

palates! Planned for 3 global cities, the multi-sensory festival arrived at

Our design and visitor journey was greatly inspired by the story behind Mr.
MONOPOLY, the iconic mascot behind the board game. Mr. MONOPOLY was
given a personality and a backstory, all of which visitors could discover and
experience in this attraction. Visitors start the experience by taking an elevator
that leads to Mr. MONOPOLY’s secret residence, where visitors can browse
through rare Monopoly collectibles, a library of MONOPOLY tokens, and take
photos with Mr. MONOPOLY’s antique race car – a classic metal car game
token that has been supersized.
Adapting the warehouse-style concept that aligns with DHL’s field of business,
the thematic experience introduced subtle changes in the palette and
expansive, flexible spaces. Industrial cool tones are replaced by futuristic
colour schemes, used to reinforce DHL’s brand with striking impressions.
Designed for continuity, a highly flexible use of space was an important design
consideration to the whole showroom to allow adaptation depending on
current industry trends and innovation. This includes easy-to-change title
signage and low maintenance digital display.As a logistics company,
Immersive and vibrant zones captured excitement through 3D life-sized
makeup installations, oversized cosmetic products with a twist for recreational
play, blue-light mirror-maze, and even an ice cream parlour. Rainbow-coloured
motifs ran through the exhibition to exude fun-loving energy while
encouraging boundless imagination. The transformation of the 700 sqm Civic
Plaza vicinity at Ngee Ann City made use of inflatable tentage and giant LED
visuals to provide dedicated brand experiences and a smooth flow of visitors

While the Harajuku store emulates a vibrant and youthful atmosphere, its spatial build
counterpart at Ginza district of Tokyo represents an edgier, urban design.
Also a three-story boutique, the facade is clad in sleek black, illuminated project & design management
by the reversed ‘D’ lettering of Desigual rebrand icon. In its interiors, LED
rods line the ceiling in zig-zag pattern and black mesh. Mimicking an
urban factory, this similar design was later implemented in Desigual at
Changi, Jewel Singapore.
From Singapore to Singaporean takes visitors on a journey through time storytelling & experience
to explore history as a series of visually audacious yet emotionally
