LEA 1- Law Enforcement Organization and Administration with Inter-Agency Approach
First Semester, SY 2024-2025

Vision

Institutional Outcomes

College Objectives
Integrated and sequential courses of study shall be planned and undertaken, utilizing didactic instructions, discussion, demonstration, laboratory practice,
on-the-job-training, etc. with the objectives of:
1. Providing opportunity, instruction and guided experience through which the students learn the basic knowledge and acquire skills essential to the
practice of Criminology, Police Administration, Criminal Justice System Administration, Security and Safety Management, and Corrections and Jail
Management.
2. Preparing students for careers related to crime prevention, scientific Police Administration work, Criminal Justice Administration, Security and Safety
Management, and Corrections and Jail Management.
3. Providing the students with a broad cultural background and an understanding of constitutional guarantees and due process requirements of law
insofar as its effects on the total administration of justice is concerned.
4. Fostering higher concepts of citizenry and leadership, and an understanding of one's moral and legal responsibilities to his fellowmen, his community,
and his country.
5. Inspiring and instilling in the students the value of service to humanity.
6. Encouraging research and inquiry along the fields of Police Administration, Criminal Justice System Administration, Security and Safety
Management, and Corrections and Jail Management.

Course Description
This course provides a comprehensive background on the development of policing and law enforcement in the country, including how
the primary law enforcement organization in the country transformed into professional police force.

Course Outcomes
At the end of this term, the student should be able to:

2. Compare and distinguish the organization of law enforcement and public safety agencies as provided under E. O 292 Series of 1987 and other
