Main cooling fan maintenance procedure:

Maintenance procedure for wall-mounted drives ACS-880-01 involves cleaning of Main cooling fan,
Heat sinks and internal dusting.

 Switch off power supply to VFD and apply LOTO to the breaker.
 Begin by removing the front panel and accessing the main fan(s) located underneath at rear
end.

Main cooling fan maintenance procedure:

 Unscrew the mounting screws for the fan mounting plate.

 Remove the fan from place and unplug the power supply wires.

 Vessel can access inner space which consists of the capacitor and heat sinks.

 With the help of the clean brush, remove the dust accumulated inside as practical as possible.
 Employ clean air (dry compressed air) to blow away accumulated dust and debris from the heat
sinks.
 Don’t use any aerosol liquid to clean the inner components.
 Subsequently, use a non-fluffy cloth to wipe the heat sinks thoroughly, ensuring the removal of
any remaining particles. Proper cleaning would be necessary.
 Blow from the bottom and top side again to blow away accumulated dust and debris from the
heat sink.

This process is essential for maintaining optimal heat dissipation and preventing overheating issues in
ACS-880-01 wall-mounted drives.

Regular cleaning contributes to the longevity and reliable performance of the equipment.
