Unit 1: It’s a challenge

Present simple: talk about your routine and your everyday activities. How often do you do
it? Describe a normal day in someone’s life.

Present continuous: describes pictures using the present continuous form. Answer
questions in the present continuous.

Vocabulary adjectives. Can you describe yourself? Are you a funny person or a friendly
person? Why?

Unit 2: Our changing planet

What’s the weather like in Misiones? Is it cold? When? What places can or visit in Misiones.

Vocabulary: geographical features: mountains, rivers, forest, etc. Animals. What’s your
favourite animal? Describe it. Where does it live? (sea, mountain, river, etc) What does it
eat? Are they dangerous? How often do you go to zoos?

Do you like zoos? Why? Why not?

Unit 3: On holiday

Holidays: Where do you like going on holidays? How often do you go on Holidays? Where do
you like going? How do you usually go there? Describe your favourite place. What can you
do there?

Past simple: describe your last weekend/week/holidays. What did you do? Where did you
go? Who did you go with? Did you like it? What did you eat?

Unit 4: My place

Homes. Describe your home using the vocabulary of unit 4. Where do you live? How many
floors does your house have? Do you have a balcony? Do you share a bedroom? What’s the
most interesting thing about your room? Would you like to live in an unusual home?
Describe the favourite part of your house-

Unit 5: school

How many different subjects do you study? What’s your favorite subject? How much
homework do you usually get? What’s your favourite subject?
Grammar: comparative and superlative sentences. Describe pictures with comparatives and
superlatives.

Unit 7: Adventure Holidays.

What adventure holiday would you like to go on? Camping? Staying in a hotel? What
activities would you like to do? Horse-riding? surfing? What are you doing this summer
holidays? Use the present simple for future (I’m staying at home this summer holidays?
Which of this adventures holidays do like the best? Why? Do you like hiking? Do you like
camping? Why? Why not? What would you take with you for a weekend camping? Where
are you planning to go?

Unit 8: Life in the future.

Future with Will: talk about future plans using Will. What Will you do in 20 years? What
Will you do when you are 50? How do you think people will live in the future? Describe
your future. What you may or may not do this weekend?

Unit 9: Sports, games and activities

Sports activities: How many sports can you name? Do you play any sports? Which one? How
often do you play it? Why do you like it? What you must or mustn’t do in that sport? What
sports do you play at school? Do you like board games? Why not? How often do you play
board games?

Grammar: must, mustn’t, have to , don’t have to.

Unit 11: city living

What are the biggest cities in your country? What can you do there? What are they famous
for? What’s good or bad about living in cities? What’s your favourite city? What places in
your city do you go regularly?

Grammar: pronouns and determiners.

Unit 12: Films

How often do you go to the cinema? What’s your favourite film? What is is about?

Grammar: relative pronouns

Unit 13: Life experiences

Present perfect: Have you ever gone kayaking? Have you ever climbed a tree? Have you ever
ridden a horse? Have you ever eaten Korean food? Mention thins you have done in your
life / You have never done in your life. Example: I have never met a famous person / I have
been in Brazil 10 times. Present perfect with ever and never.
Vocabulary: outdoor activities.

Unit 14: Spending money.

Present perfect with just already and yet. Shops: Do you like shopping? How often do you
go shopping? What shops do you go the most? Clothes shop? Sweet shop? Which one is you
favourite?

Unit 15: Free time activities

Grammar: present perfect with for and since. What do you do in your free time? What’s your
favourite activities?

Unit 16: Languages of the world

Grammar: past simple and present perfect. Words to describe language learning. How do
you feel about learning English? Do you think it’s interesting? Why? Why not? Is it
important for your future? Which other languages would you like to learn? What languages
do you speak? What languages do your parents speak?

Picture description.

Describe pictures: What are they doing? Where are they? How are they feeling? Do you
think they are boring? What’s the weather like?

Making and answering questions

Unit 1: It’s a challenge

- **Present Simple:** My routine starts with waking up at 7 AM. I have breakfast, study,
and play video games in the afternoon. I usually do my homework in the evening. A normal
day in someone's life could involve going to work, exercising, and watching TV.
- **Present Continuous:** (Picture description) In the picture, a man is running in the
park. He is wearing a blue t-shirt and shorts. The weather is sunny, and he seems happy.
- **Vocabulary:** I describe myself as friendly because I like helping others and making
friends.

Unit 2: Our changing planet

- **Weather in Misiones:** The weather is warm most of the year. It gets colder during
winter (June-July).
- **Geographical features:** Misiones has mountains, rivers, and lush forests. My favorite
animal is the jaguar, which lives in the jungle and eats meat. Jaguars can be dangerous. I
rarely visit zoos but enjoy seeing animals in their natural habitat.
- **Opinion about zoos:** I dislike zoos because animals should live freely in nature.

Unit 3: On holiday

- **Holidays:** I like going to the beach. I go there once a year with my family. My favorite
place is Mar del Plata, where I enjoy swimming and eating seafood.
- **Past Simple:** Last weekend, I worked on a history project about the Jesuits. I filmed a
documentary and edited the video. It was exhausting but rewarding.
