What is design?
In fabric refers to a pattern or figure that is printed on it.
E. Application
Flash series of pictures on screen on the different
garments with designs. Ask the learners to identify and
explain what element of design is used in the pictures.
F. Generalization
The personality of the wearer shows the kind of image
she projects. Personalities differ depending on the kind of
clothing people wear. Good outfit should have proportion,
balance, harmony, emphasis and rhythm to express art
principles.
To be a dressmaker, designer and etc., designing a
garment has a big impact to wearers comfort and
personality. That is why we need to learn these principles in
order to satisfy our clients.
