Honourable chief guest and guest of honour, dignitaries present here, respected

teachers and my dear friends.

For the last time I am Miss Lisum Sora, The college captain, from the department of
History.

Esteemed Graduates Class of 2024,

On this momentous occasion, I take immense pleasure in congratulating all of you

on your graduation. This is a milestone that each one of us has worked hard for and
deserves to celebrate. Let us raise a toast to our accomplishments and to those who
have supported us on this journey.

As we prepare for the next phase of our lives, it is important to reflect on the
memories we have made together. We, as the first batch of CBCS, have had our fair
share of challenges, particularly with the uncertainty that comes with a new
curriculum. Despite this, we have formed bonds that transcend the classroom and
have created lasting friendships. From Francis Fiesta to department picnics, we have
come together as a community and shared experiences that will remain with us for a
lifetime. The normalcy that we have known for the last three years has come to an
end. No more 9 am classes, no lounging under the trees during breaks, no more
mixture runs no more assignments and tests. These halls that have seen so much of
our memories will not have us anymore, and the classroom that has witnessed our
history will be the home of someone else who doesn't know how many jokes we
cracked and how loud we became inside these rooms. The pen marks on the desk,
the decorations that we put up - all of it will be gone. Slowly, we will be busy and not
able to spend all our time together anymore. The next time we meet will be called a
reunion, not just another Monday morning.

Our journey, however, does not end here. We are now entering a new phase of our
lives, one that is filled with new opportunities and challenges. The past is set but the
future although uncertain, is up to us to make them a reality. Some of us will pursue
further education, while others may take a year off to prepare for the next steps in
their careers or as we call it unemployment. Regardless of the path we choose, let
us not forget that hard work, dedication, consistency, and discipline are the key
ingredients for success. I also want to thank my fellow graduates for making college
life the best three years of my life.

I would like to take this opportunity to express my gratitude to our teachers, parents,
and families for their unwavering support and encouragement throughout our
academic journey and for being not only teachers but also good friends. Their
guidance and mentorship have played a critical role in shaping us into the individuals
we are today. Over the years, numerous teachers have come and gone, yet the
bedrock of the Fransilian ethos has endured, thanks to our principal. He has
consistently acknowledged our sincerity and has supported us in learning from our
errors while demonstrating an unwavering affection for us.

In closing, I would like to leave you with a quote from Meryl Streep, "You don't have
to be famous. You just have to make your mother and father proud of you, and you
already have." Let us take pride in our accomplishments and use them as a
foundation for greater success in the future. Congratulations, Class of 2024.
