WALL DECALS MAINTENANCE INSTRUCTIONNAIRE
Wall decals are made from tough and durable matte vinyl stickers with digitally printed images that use
quality ink solvents and are directly applied thoroughly to finished concrete walls, although these walls
stickers are still prone to abrasions, image fading, and peeling. Here are recommended precaution and
maintenance instructions to prolong the quality and appearance of the decals:
1. Scratching/rubbing. The wall decals are foremost sensitive to linear scratches and rub marks that
degrade the appearance of the image printed. Avoid aggressive physical contact, from sharp and pointed
objects. Keep minimal contact and bumping on the surface walls. Also, the concrete finish where the
sticker adheres is not perfectly flat and smooth, and so at these particular surfaces, scratching and
rubbing are probable.
2. Peeling. Avoid intentionally peeling from the sticker edges and overlaps. Peeled edges should not
be further peeled, instead must be remedied—through cleaning the backside of the peeled off part of the
sticker and squeegeed thoroughly back in place while, as it is recommended, being blow-dried.
Otherwise, contact authorized service providers for repair or replacement of damaged part.
3. Cleaning. As it is from scratching and rubbing the decals, improperly cleaning the stickers also
deteriorate the quality of the print. Thoroughly cleaning the walls with damp sheets and liquid sprays will
not have immediate overall deterioration. Instead, constant use of this method will gradually fade the
solvents of the ink solvents of the stickers, shortening the lifespan of the print. To properly maintain the
quality of the wall decal and as well as keep the cleanliness of the walls:
a.) General cleaning (as in washing or whipping with sheets) of the walls must be periodic,
minimal, or refrain from cleaning at all. Only clean in accumulation of dirt and soil, which
normally occurs around the base of the walls, door jams, and window sills.
b.) Dust and other similar contamination may well accumulate around the surface walls and
corners. Use only cottony or soft mediums such as feather dusters, cotton rugs, or tissue
to clean these areas.
c.) Water spills, splashes, and other liquid contamination should only be cleaning using dry
rugs/sheets. Do not clean with water or wet medium before and after dry whipping.
4. Solvents. Chemicals were used for the inks for the print of the stickers, therefore other contact or
exposure to foreign chemicals may result to unintended chemical reaction that will deteriorate the print
and as well as the vinyl. The matte wall stickers are not flammable and are not toxic under extreme
conditions—thus the main concern is the quality and appearance of the decals. Keep any acids, solvents,
chemical agents, and other reactive substances away from the sticker walls.
5. Heating/Burning. The wall stickers are not flammable—cannot instantly catch fire and instantly
ignite. But it is possible to strike fire and burn the areas of the decals that will melt the stickers, damaging
the appearance and quality. Room and daytime temperatures are favourable, but continuous heating
exposure will result to the crisping and burning of the print image. Keep the wall stickers from heating
temperatures above 40 degrees Celsius. Furthermore, keep away from any immediate fire or heating
hazards such as candles, match sticks, lighters, and blowtorches.
6. Vandalism. Any mark-ups, doodles, and intended abrasions are considered vandalism. These not
only damage the appearance of the stickers but also disrupt the tidiness and presentability of the vicinity
or room
