CARGO.
IO RENTAL CONTRACT
This Vehicle Rental Agreement ("Agreement") is entered into as of the 15th day of December, 2024,
by and between Cargo.io ("Owner") and __________________ ("Renter").
Vehicle Information
Owner hereby rents to Renter the following vehicle:
- Make/Model: Tesla Model 3
- Year: 2021
- VIN: YJ3E1EA6MF085973
- License Plate: TXF5413
Rental Term and Payment
The term of this Agreement shall begin on December 15, 2024, and end on January 15, 2025,
unless terminated
earlier by either party.
- Daily Rental Rate: $42.00 per day.
- Total Rental Fee for the Term: $1,302.00 (based on a 31-day period).
- Security Deposit: $586.23, payable prior to the start of the rental term.
The security deposit is non-refundable and will be applied toward the total rental fee. The remaining
balance of
$715.77 must be paid in full before the Renter takes possession of the vehicle. Payments not
received within five
(5) days of the due date will incur a late fee of $50.
Conditions of Use
Renter agrees to the following conditions:
1. Driving Restricted to Miami City Limits: The vehicle may not be driven outside the city limits of
Miami, Florida.
2. GPS Monitoring: The vehicle is equipped with GPS monitoring, and Renter acknowledges and
consents to the
Owner's use of this system to track the vehicle's location.
3. No Smoking: Smoking of any kind is strictly prohibited inside the vehicle. Violation of this clause
will result
in a $250 cleaning fee.
4. No Driving Under the Influence (DUI): Driving under the influence of alcohol, drugs, or other
impairing
substances is strictly prohibited and will result in immediate termination of this Agreement.
5. Interior Damage Responsibility: Renter is fully responsible for any damages to the interior of the
vehicle,
including but not limited to seats, dashboard, and upholstery. Replacement or repair costs will be
charged to
the Renter.
6. No Pets: Pets are not allowed inside the vehicle under any circumstances. Violation of this clause
will result
in a $200 cleaning fee.
Vehicle Condition and Maintenance
- Condition at Start: Renter acknowledges that the vehicle is in good condition at the start of the
rental period.
- Return Condition: The vehicle must be returned in the same condition, normal wear and tear
excepted.
- Routine Maintenance: Software updates and tire rotations will be handled by the Owner. Renter
must
immediately report any mechanical issues or accidents to the Owner.
Insurance and Liability
- Insurance: Renter must provide proof of valid insurance coverage before taking possession of the
vehicle.
- Liability: Renter assumes all liability for any damages caused while the vehicle is in their
possession.
Termination and Return of Vehicle
- Either party may terminate this Agreement with seven (7) days' written notice.
- Upon termination, Renter must return the vehicle to the Owner at the designated location in the
same
condition as received.
Default and Remedies
Failure to comply with the terms of this Agreement will constitute a default. In the event of default,
the Owner
may terminate this Agreement and repossess the vehicle without prior notice.
Miscellaneous
- This Agreement shall be governed by the laws of the State of Florida.
- Any disputes arising from this Agreement will be resolved in a court of competent jurisdiction in
Miami, Florida.
Acknowledgment
