Palaspas
The ocean is filled with different aquatic creatures.

Clownfish

Clownfish are bright orange marine fish with white bands, living symbiotically with sea anemones for
protection. In return, they help clean the anemones.

Lionfish

Lionfish are striking, venomous fish with long, spiny fins and bold red, white, and brown stripes. Native to
the Indo-Pacific, they have become an invasive species in the Atlantic, where they threaten local ecosystems
by preying on smaller fish.

Octopus

Octopi (or octopuses) are highly intelligent, eight-armed marine animals known for their ability to
camouflage, problem-solve, and escape from enclosures. They have soft, rounded bodies, bulging eyes, and
eight long arms. They have suckers on the underside of their arms that help them grip onto things.
Octopuses can change color to match their surroundings or mood.

Sea TURTLE

Sea turtles are large marine reptiles with hard shells that protect them from predators. They spend most of
their lives in the ocean and migrate long distances between feeding and nesting areas. There are seven
species, some of which are endangered due to habitat loss and human activity.

Pufferfish

Pufferfish are small, spiny fish known for their ability to inflate their bodies when threatened. Many species
contain a potent toxin, tetrodotoxin, making them dangerous to eat unless prepared by licensed chefs. They
are found in both saltwater and freshwater environments.

Anglerfish

Anglerfish are deep-sea fish known for their bioluminescent lure, which they use to attract prey in the dark
ocean depths. They have large mouths with sharp teeth and often live in pitch-black environments. Some
species display sexual dimorphism, with males being much smaller than females.

Starfish

Starfish, or sea stars, are marine invertebrates with five (or more) arms radiating from a central body. They
have remarkable regenerative abilities, able to grow back lost limbs. Starfish are typically found on the
ocean floor, where they feed on mollusks and other small organisms.
