Configuration of

CFC Logic on digsi


4 with Siemens
Relays
Configuration of Masking
I/O
 Open digsi 4 > create new file > connect the relay.
 Go to settings > select masking I/O.
 To make own configuration. Right click > insert group in after...
 User-def will be created > Right click on user-def drag & drop single point
(SP)

 Now configure BI source by right click > select H (active with voltage).
 Also configure BO source same by right click > select U (Unlatched) or L
(latched).
 NOTE: L (Latched) for when output gets high it will remain high until
you reset the relay. Same method for LED configuration.

 After configure BI BO of User-def. configure Destination > C > right


click > X.
NOTE: If this is not configured, it will not show in CFC charts.
 Same for configure output signals to shows in CFC chart
 Source > C > Right click > X.
Configuring Logic in CFC
chart
 Open Digsi 4 > Create new file > connect the relay.
 Goto settings > CFC charts.
For adding own new configuration. Right click > Insert CFC chart.
 Now open CFC chart. You can able to see logic gates on left side.

 Left side section is for connecting & Shows inputs signal. Right side
is for output.
 Now drag & drop the logic which you want.
 For connecting Input & Output on logic. Click on Input section in
logic > Interconnection to address > Select which you have created
on User-def.
NOTE: Make sure that hardwiring done on
the relay & do configuration with exact BI &
BO.
