Đại từ tân ngữ có thể là số ít hoặc số nhiều, nam hoặc nữ. Khi đề cập đến thời tiết, nhiệt độ, thời gian, một vật vô tri vô
giác hoặc một đứa trẻ hoặc động vật không xác định được giới tính, có thể sử dụng “it”.
