OFFICE MEMORANDUM

Subject: Foundation Training Programme (FTP) for Stenographers Grade DRs

(SDRs) of 2022 batch and remaining candidates’ of 2020 batch- regarding

As per existing Training Policy guidelines issued by DoP&T vide O.M.

No.T-25017/1/2015-Trg (ISTM Section) dated 4.7.2016, the Foundation Training
Course of Stenographers Grade ‘D’ (Induction Training) will be of 8 weeks duration,
of which 10 days will be Bharat Darshan. The successful completion of the Foundation
Training is mandatory for the officials for completing their probation and confirmation in
the post.

2. Accordingly, the two batches of 80 Stenographers Grade-‘D’ of 2022 batch

(including 5 Stenographers Grade-'D of 2020 batch), who have already joined their
allotted Ministries/Departments, as per details in the Annexure I & II, are hereby
nominated for the 8 weeks Foundation Training Course scheduled from 07th October,
2024 to 29th November, 2024 (8 weeks) to be conducted by ISTM.

3. The concerned Ministries and Departments are requested to extend necessary

facilities to the participants and allow them to undergo the training at ISTM and also
sanction an advance of Rs. 43,000/- to the respective participants to meet
expenditure to be incurred in the study tour. The expenditure will be adjusted by
participants in their respective Cadre Units, as per extent TA/DA Rules.

4. All the nominated Stenographers Grade- ‘D’ may be directed to visit the ISTM
website and register themselves on lSTM’s TMIS portal at https://www.istm.gov.in/
before commencement of the training without fail. For any assistance and clarifications
with regard to registration/course details etc., Shri Kishore Soni [Email Id –

1 (SDR-42) & Shri Lalit [Email Id – [email protected], Mob. No. - 9868244797],
