HOME VISIT PLAN

GENERAL OBJECTIVES:

After 2 days of student nurse-family interaction, the family interaction, the family will be able to
acquire adequate knowledge, proper skills and positive attitude towards promotion of health &
prevention of illness.

SPECIFIC ACTIONS:

After 50 minutes of student nurse-family interaction, the family will be able to:

1. Show the student nurse his/her cooperation


2. Describe the significance and goal of home visits
3. Determine the health-related issue.
4. List the practices being used to promote health.
5. Establish a contract and decide when the next home visit will take place.

NURSING ACTIONS:
1. Build a rapport with the family member.
