SOCIO-ECONOMIC STUDY

Socio- economic, also known as a social economics, is a social science that


studies how economic activity influences and influenced by social process. More
specifically refers to how social and economic factors affect the economy. The proposed
business, Katagbawan resto aims to socially responsible and profitable through building
and developing long-term relationships with all interested parties and it also works to
keep the highest level of quality in actions, behavior. In this regard the business existed
not only for profit purposes but also the effect of the people and the condition of the
society.

Social Benefits

Katagbawan resto provides good services to the society in which this business
will address some basic needs of the person not only in physical but includes the source
for their livelihood. The Katagbawan Resto will seek workers, some of the workers the
business must priorities to hire that needy person. In addition, after five years from now
the business will engage such as donators or to be the one sponsor publicly like school
projects, pageants, church and etc. Moreover, the food service industry’s contribution of
katagbawan resto to the Philippine Economy is in terms of value sales, outlets and
transactions, it also generates employment to many Filipino.

Economic Benefits
Katagbawan resto, as a business economic benefits the community as whole, by
means of availing foods, goods and services that not only benefit them but also their way
of supporting local foods in our Municipality also the business is a job opportunity, so the
unemployment rate in the country will decrease or increase in government funds directly
attributable to taxes paid.

CONCLUSION AND RECOMMENDATION

Summary and Findings


To help with the investigation, the researchers ran a survey. Eighty (80)
respondents were chosen randomly from Palaranan, Manukan Zamboanga del Norte’s
total population to participate in this survey, which employed the descriptive approach to
obtain information. The purpose of this is to decide whether or not a restaurant in
Barangay Palaranan, New Bus Terminal Manukan, is acceptable. This method will also
assist in determining whether or not our restaurant will be a long-term venture.

Respondent’s Profile
The bulk of potential customers for Katagbawan Resto, is representative of those
who are between the ages of 41 and 49 (40%). Teenagers (7%), people in their 20s and
30s (19%), people in their 40s (29%), and other age groups are the following major
groups of potential customers. Also, it reveals that 37% of potential customers are now
employed, followed by 33% of unemployed people and 30% of students.
It's intriguing to examine the potential customers for Katagbawan Resto's age and
employment demographics. Here are some additional interpretations of these findings:

1. It's probable that this age range is more likely to have discretionary income to spend on
eating out because this group of potential customers is more likely to be between the ages
of 41 and 49.
2. The concept that potential customers may have more stable finances to spend on
restaurant meals is supported by the fact that the majority of them are employed.
3. The second greatest age range for potential customers is between 30 and 40, which may
indicate that Katagbawan Resto's menu and environment also appeal to a little younger
population.

4. The fact that 30% of potential customers are students may suggest that there is a chance
to market exclusively to this group, for example through student discounts or promotions.
5. Finally, it's important to understand that over a third of potential customers are
unemployed. This may indicate that Katagbawan Resto is situated in a region with greater
unemployment rates or that the eatery has reasonably priced menu selections that appeal
to folks who are not currently employed.

Conclusion
Katagbawan Resto in Palaranan, Manukan is becoming less active as technology
advances. The products and food that Katagbawan provides are the sole things keeping
the business alive. According to the survey individuals and company visit in resto
because they are tired of cooking especially early in the morning. The daily operations of
Katagbawan Resto are their primary concern, and they are pleased with the cuisine being
supplied.

Recommendation
There are numerous crucial choices to be made while launching a business. The
technical aspects of the services should be of the highest caliber at the most affordable
price. In order to maintain the relationship with customers and to secure long-term
operations, business owners must, in some ways, look for ways to satisfy their customers
and in terms of seeking feedback.
