I have a Master’s degree (MSc) and Bachelor degree (BSc.) degree in Computer Science from Mekelle University,
Department of Computer Science in the year of 2012 and 2017 respectively. Along with, I have certificate of Cisco
(CCNA), Student center teaching learning process pedagogy Networking & Hardware Service (COC), IT Supporting.
I have 10 years of work experience in the Teaching learning and educational Management in both in NGO &
Government in Education Industry
I have been working in Alchemy world project (NGO) which is under Tigray youth association (TYA) as an IT Expert;
in Admas University as Department Head of Computer Science; in Ambo University as Lecturer of computer
Science, Currently, I am working in Hearts of Humanity (HOH) as information Management Officer as voluntary.
In my experience I gained solid skills on the educational data management such as
Preparing weekly and monthly education report to senior management
Conducts in-service teachers/facilitators trainings based on teachers training needs
Keeps the record of number of students/teachers in the department
Facilitates the accelerated education program aligned with need on the ground.
allocation and controlling of the departmental budget and resources
Controlling and managing the quality of education based on curriculum designed
Related to this, I was also worked in humanitarian organization
Support for collection, analyses, production and dissemination of information (what, where, who, how
many(4W)).
Reporting data online using tools Kobo, ODK Aggregate and design Questionnaire.
Training and Supporting site data clerks and managers on training the data entry, report preparation and keeping
historical records
Organize meetings, workshops and training sessions; prepare training materials and participate in the delivering of
capacity building workshops.
In addition to this ,I have also involved in different IT projects such I have Implemented TYA’s official website
(www.tigyouas.org), And also, I have developed official website (www.heartsofhumanity.org.et) for Hearts of Humanity.
In my Master thesis, I have achieved my research on ‘Development of Electronics based data collection and reporting
System for Ethiopia public health’ to manage statistical Healthy data (HMIS) electronically.
Additionally, I am inclined to active involvement in all aspects of academia: design of appropriate teaching and
assessment methodologies, development of individual teaching materials as well as motivating students to attain their full
academic potentials. Other than this, I develop a class schedule that comprises daily lesson.
