For holistic appraisal rubrics of digital learning resources should be comprehensive. These include ease
to navigate, effectiveness in capturing students’ attention, alignment with the curriculum, accessibility
and interactive features as the main indicators. Efficient engagement and effective interaction require a
user-friendly interface. Besides being entertaining it must also be interactive to hold students’ interest.
The rubric should evaluate whether the resource aligns well with the curriculum and if learning
objectives are met or not by it. In order to ensure equal opportunities for all learners accessibility should
be considered key too while simulations and quizzes among other things make learning more enjoyable
therefore suchlike features need also be included within an assessment instrument for this purpose.
Even levels whereof tools can be accessed need to be appraised thus giving room for improvement in
different aspects of its usability throughout various devices used by students during their study periods;
these considerations will help educators evaluate their suitability for meeting different student needs
when selecting them as aids towards enhancing overall educational experience of learners themselves.
