"Young master Smith, please don't get me killed and stand up quickly," Ray desperately begged Logan to

get up from the ground, extending a helping hand.

Logan was still dumbfounded at the amount he just heard as pocket money. He quickly shook it off,
remembering he had a lot to do at this moment.

"How did you find me?" Logan asked, confused about how he went from being shipped outside the
country to waking up in a king-size bed and a room filled with luxury.

"After intel reached me that a certain Logan Smith was registered on one of the shipping cargos to be
transported outside the USA, I sent my boys quickly to check it out before it would board at sea. You
were lying unconscious inside when they found you and brought you here quickly at my command."

Logan didn't know what to say. It meant he hadn't left the country yet and was still in the city of Empire.

"Are we still in the city of Empire?"

"Yes, yes we are. Diamond Estate precisely, and we, young master, are in the tallest hotel in the estate."

"All this is happening too fast, but quickly I need to see my mother before we meet who you say is my
grandfather."

"That would be too late, my child. I am sorry, but by the time we ran through your identity and found
out the woman who cared for you all these while, she was already proclaimed dead from her illness due
to late funding of her surgery. I am deeply sorry for your loss."

Anger immediately consumed Logan. His adoptive mother was dead, all because of Lady Adams and
Lloyd Sinclair kidnapping him and locking him up to be shipped outside the country. He didn't have
enough time to save her.
He clenched his fist in anger to control himself from snapping.

For his mother, he had to get to the bottom of all these as he knew in his heart that she would love for
him to find out the truth about his identity. After that, he immediately took a decision. "Let's go meet
my grandfather," he said coldly and started walking out the door without waiting for Mr. Ray.

"Young master, that is the wrong way. A chopper would be on top of the roof to pick us shortly."

A chopper? In the most expensive hotel in Diamond Estate. Is that even allowed?

Logan questioned himself in disbelief that his family had all that power. As poor as he was, he also knew
how strictly forbidden it was for a chopper to land on Diamond Estate hotels, but his family was an
exception.

In less than two minutes, the chopper arrived, and Logan followed Ray into it as they flew.

The journey took about an hour until Ray told him they had arrived.

The chopper landed on a vast field, with a big letter S written on the field.

"Now, young master Smith. It's time to meet your grandfather, Abraham Smith." Ray opened double
doors of a huge mansion in the middle of a beautiful lake.

As Logan stepped in, his eyes were dazzled. As poor and useless as he was back at the Adams family, he
knew what expensive looked like when he saw one. But what he was looking at right at the walls of the
mansion was more than expensive; it was wealth in its peak!
The custom carvings, the artwork of the late 18th century, the smell of the beautiful lake engulfing the
peaceful nature of the surrounding. Truly, this is the best place to spend the rest of one's life when
retired, Logan thought to himself.

"This way, young master, your grandfather is waiting for you." Ray gestured and opened a door, and a
strange man was standing on the other side, facing his back to them.

Logan felt chills; he swallowed hard and stepped inside. Truth be told, he was still in a trance and
couldn't tell if this was all a dream because it seemed too good to be true for a lowlife like him.

"Master Smith, after twenty five long years since you gave me the responsibility of looking for the lost
heir to the Smith family fortunes, I have finally found him. Meet Logan Smith." He bowed, and the man
with white hair slowly turned to them.

Logan's eyes met his, and the old man was startled.

Tears threatened to come down his eyes as he slowly took steps towards Logan, who tried everything in
his power to remain calm despite the shocking events.

He placed both his palms on the sides of Logan's cheeks and said, "Truly, you're the spitting image of
your father, excellent job, Ray!"

"After so many years, you have come back to me. To us, your family." Immediately, the old man hugged
him while holding back the tears.

He brought out a seat and told Logan to sit down while he took a seat as well.

"Ray, why is my grandson wearing these clothes? I thought I gave you pocket money to hand it to him
whenever you found him." The old man asked concerned.
"Yes, master. But young master here was in a haste to meet with you rather than going shopping."

"I see. This must be a lot for you to handle, my grandchild." The old man shifted his gaze to Logan, and
he snapped back into reality.

"Who am I?" Logan simply asked, growing impatient.

"Who are you? You are the heir to the Smith family fortunes. A next consortium heir. A man born into
the generation of trillionaires. That is who you are!"

"I am old already. The Smith family needs fresh blood to carry on the legacy, and you are all that the
family needs. Stand up and claim your place as my grandson, heir to my wealth!"

Logan felt chills as his grandfather spoke to him.

"If I am your grandson truly, then where is my father? Why haven't I met him yet in all this?"

The old man took a deep sigh before continuing.

"Your father and mother died twenty eight years ago in a car crash that took their lives except yours."

"What?" Logan exclaimed with a trembling voice.

"It was my fault. I was angry with your father for marrying your mother even when I had told him
countless times that he could just take you and settle her off with some amount, but he ended up
marrying her that faithful day."
Logan's expression quickly changed now. So his grandfather was like that of the Adams, looking at social
ladder nonsense? It irritated him, but he composed himself and let him continue.

"That night, they had come home from their wedding, and I didn't allow him to bring her home to live
with us. Out of anger, he took you and her with him to go live elsewhere, and sadly, it came to my ears
they had a car crash. My son and his wife both dead and caught in flames, but you were never found at
the tragic scene."

A tear slipped through his eyes as he told Logan the story of his past while Logan tried to remain
composed still.

"I know this news is too much for you all at once, but you need to know. Afterwards, I searched for you
everywhere with my influence in the country because I believed you were alive but couldn't find you. I
was beginning to develop high blood pressure from too much thinking and gave my butler here the
charge of looking for you himself while I rested in my agony. And right now, you are here with me, a full-
grown man."

"So you looked down on mother, and all that led to this day of me being treated like trash by people
who aren't even worthy of licking my shoes?" Logan asked him coldly, and Ray was about to calm Logan
down when his grandfather stopped him with the raising of his hand.

"You have every right to be angry at me. I made a very big mistake which cost me my son and I have
learned the hard way all these years and will never repeat such. All I am asking from you now is to come
take your rightful place in the Smith family."

"What makes you think I will do whatever you say now?"

"If you won't do it for me, do it for your father and yourself. He invested so much in building the legacy
of the Smith family. And you have suffered so much on the outside world; you more than deserve this as
my flesh and blood," Abraham, his grandfather, said with all seriousness.
Logan finally rested his back on the chair as he shut his eyes and took in all that has happened to him in
the past twenty four hours. He tried so much to believe everything, but when he remembered how he
cleaned dirty toilets for peanuts back at the Adams family house, he simply could not bring himself to
believe one's life could change so much like a Disney show overnight.

However, he had met his grandfather already, and now his next move depends on whether he accepts
to be the Smith family next heir. But suddenly, Amara, his wife, came into his mind, and he remembered
what Lady Adams had told him about marrying her off to Lloyd Sinclair.

He snapped up the chair immediately and said to his grandfather, "I need to go see my wife."

"That is no problem. Just think about what I have told you."

"Ray, did you give him his black card?"

"He hasn't accepted it yet, Master."

"Hand it to him and add an extra ten billion dollars. Tell him to get some drinks after buying new clothes.
I don't want my grandson to appear like a beggar. Also, here's the key to the garage. Take him there and
let him choose five cars, customized to his liking."

Upon hearing this, Logan's head exploded in surprise.
