Electrical Department:
Electrical engineering is an engineering discipline concerned with the study, design, and
application of equipment, devices, and systems which use electricity, electronics, and electromagnetism.
Electrical engineering is now divided into a wide range of different fields, including computer
engineering, systems engineering, power engineering, telecommunications, radio-frequency engineering,
signal processing, instrumentation, photovoltaic cells, electronics, and optics and photonics. Many of
these disciplines overlap with other engineering, spanning a huge number of specializations including
hardware engineering, power electronics, electromagnetics and waves, microwave engineering,
nanotechnology, electrochemistry, renewable energies, mechatronics/control, and electrical materials
science.
Industrial Department:
Industrial Engineering track gives an opportunity to its graduates to become engaged in
virtually any industry, be it manufacturing or service oriented. Productivity enhancement, process
optimization, quality improvement, logistic, ergonomic product design, environmental health and
safety are some of the major focal area of Industrial Engineering.

Vacuum Circuit Breaker:
A vacuum circuit breaker is a kind of circuit breaker where the arc quenching takes place in a vacuum
medium. The operation of switching on and closing of current carrying contacts and interrelated arc
interruption takes place in a vacuum chamber in the breaker which is called a vacuum interrupter.

Dc Motor:
A DC motor is defined as a class of electrical motors that convert direct current electrical energy into
mechanical energy.
From the above definition, we can conclude that any electric motor that is operated using direct current or
DC is called a DC motor. We will understand the DC motor construction and how a DC motor converts
the supplied DC electrical energy into mechanical energy in the next few sections.

other circuits, either increasing (stepping up) or reducing (stepping down) the voltage.

Ac Motor:
An AC motor is an electric motor driven by an alternating current (AC). The AC motor commonly
consists of two basic parts, an outside stator having coils supplied with alternating current to produce a
rotating magnetic field, and an inside rotor attached to the output shaft producing a second rotating
magnetic field. The rotor magnetic field may be produced by permanent magnets, reluctance saliency, or
DC or AC electrical windings.

A variable-frequency drive (VFD) is a type of motor drive used in electro-mechanical drive systems to
control AC motor speed and torque by varying motor input frequency and, depending on topology, to
control associated voltage or current variation. VFDs may also be known as 'AFDs' (adjustable-frequency
drives), 'ASDs' (adjustable-speed drives), 'VSDs' (variable-speed drives), 'AC drives', 'micro drives',
'inverter drives' or, simply, 'drives.

Generator
n electric generator is a device that converts mechanical energy obtained from an external source into
electrical energy as the output.
It is important to understand that a generator does not actually ‘create’ electrical energy. Instead, it uses
the mechanical energy supplied to it to force the movement of electric charges present in the wire of its
windings through an external electric circuit. This flow of electric charges constitutes the output electric
current supplied by the generator. This mechanism can be understood by considering the generator to
be analogous to a water pump, which causes the flow of water but does not actually ‘create’ the water
flowing through it.
The modern-day generator works on the principle of electromagnetic induction discovered by Michael
Faraday in 1831-32. Faraday discovered that the above flow of electric charges could be induced by
moving an electrical conductor, such as a wire that contains electric charges, in a magnetic field. This
movement creates a voltage difference between the two ends of the wire or electrical conductor, which
in turn causes the electric charges to flow, thus generating electric current.

Conclusion
The Training section is a key element in the technical writing student's professional
preparation. And the training report is a key element in the internship experience. It is
through writing the report that the maturity and professional experience the student gained as
an intern becomes fully realized. It is through the report that the student exercises his or her
critical and analytical faculties and demonstrates newly found skills and identity as a
Professional communicator.
