CASUCOL™ 301
Thickening and rheology modifying agent
for building materials
CASUCOL™ 301 is an all-round thickener for mortars. It can be used in neutral and alkaline gypsum, and also in
cement. It gives non-sag and anti-slip properties to products like plasters, fillers and tile adhesives. A low dosage of
CASUCOL™ 301 is sufficient to obtain the required thickening effect. Formulations containing CASUCOL™ 301 are
characterised by a good workability and low stickiness.

• Extended open time: fast thickening obtained with CASUCOL™ 301 maximizes the time available between
preparation of the mortar and setting.
Advantages in cement based products
• Anti-slip in tile adhesives
• Enhanced workability and anti-sag in renders
• Extended open time
• Excellent in combination with cellulose ethers
• Improved pumpability in spray-on mortars
