TRANSFORMING A CURSE INTO A BLESSING

The topic is entitled Transforming the curse into blessing

 Jesus bore the most horrific pain imaginable hang`ing on the cross, becuase
of His love and desire to set us free, completely. bakit matagal sya na ka
hang? because during that time He is being nailed with every curse that is
caused by the sin in our life, so that we can have the blessing.
 Sin is not just pagkakamali, its more than that , sin and disobedience, has a
curse enclosed in it. like when adam and eve disobeyed, curse came upon
their lives. Like david, when he fell into adultery, there was a curse sa
chidren nya. Nagkaron ng rebellion/murder/rape, in his house.
 Jesus didnt just die so that we will be forgiven, so that we will sin no more.
But He died to break us free, from every form of curse that goes along that
sin. Isn’t Jesus the best??
 His precious blood fell to the ground one drop at a time. He rematined int
he cross for hours until His redeeming work of love was finished.
 Many people wants to follow God, but find themselves not living the life
that God has promised, simply because there are still things in their lives
that keeps them, which are curses.
Short testimony (if possible, put to the end):
it is only when learned and discovered how to break the curses off my house,
and to call uppon God's blessing, to apply the word of God over the curses,
that I start to see blessings, real blessings. How God restored us. Now aside
from poverty is broken sa family ko, nag grow din yung relationship naming,
we become closer.
 we are to realize and receive this revelation, of How Jesus has cancelled all
the curses in our lives and in our family, in the Cross. we've got to have that
revelation.
 If you understand that revelation, hindi na katanggap tanggap ang mga
curses sa life natin.
 until you get the curse in your life to be transformed into blessing, it will be
so hard to follow the Lord fully, and serve Him.

Deu 30:19 I call heaven and earth to witness against you today, that I have
set before you life and death, blessing and curse. Therefore choose life, that
you and your offspring may live.
 the choice of death or life..this decision will impact not just us, but the
generations. Not just for us but for the generations after us.

What are those curses that we see in our lives?

The cross means blessing to us. The cross means freedom from all curses.

(CAUSES/ROOTS)

another; and I will send punishment on the children for the wrongdoing of
their fathers, to the third and fourth generation of my haters;

truth.

unclean things, wrong use of the senses,

what another has, angry feelings, attempts to get the better of others,
divisions, false teachings,
Gal 5:21 Envy, uncontrolled drinking and feasting, and such things: of which I
give you word clearly, even as I did in the past, that they who do such things
will have no part in the kingdom of God.
` "'Cursed be anyone who moves his neighbor's landmark.' And all the people
shall say, 'Amen.'
Deu 27:18 "'Cursed be anyone who misleads a blind man on the road.' And
all the people shall say, 'Amen.'
 this includes abortion, chauvisnis,, abusing somebody, taking advantage is
widows, orphans, children, invalids and elderly.

4. TRUSTING IN THE FLESH
Jer 17:5 Thus says the LORD: "Cursed is the man who trusts in man and
makes flesh his strength, whose heart turns away from the LORD.
Jer 17:6 He is like a shrub in the desert, and shall not see any good come.
He shall dwell in the parched places of the wilderness, in an uninhabited salt
land.
Jer 17:7 "Blessed is the man who trusts in the LORD, whose trust is the
LORD.
 when we trust in our own strength and abilities alone, we put a curse upon
our selves.
- di ko na kelangan mag pray, di ko na kelangan help ng Lord, di ko na
kelangan mag cell, di ko na kelangan mag bible bible, di ko na kelangan
magworship every Sunday.
5. STEALING - Exodus 20:15 - You should not steal.

 Extra expenses
 Vices and sin, such as gambling and sex
 Laziness and ireresponsibilty
 carelessness
6. Curses that COme though the Servants of God
joshua 6:26
Jos 6:26 Joshua laid an oath on them at that time, saying, "Cursed before the
LORD be the man who rises up and rebuilds this city, Jericho. "At the cost of
his firstborn shall he lay its foundation, and at the cost of his youngest son
shall he set up its gates."

7. Curses Spoken by the servants of Satan

Deut 18:10-12 - witch craft
Deu 18:10 There shall not be found among you anyone who burns his son or his
daughter as an offering, anyone who practices divination or tells fortunes or
interprets omens, or a sorcerer
Deu 18:11 or a charmer or a medium or a necromancer or one who inquires of
the dead,
Deu 18:12 for whoever does these things is an abomination to the LORD. And
because of these abominations the LORD your God is driving them out
before you.

8. Curses Spoken by Parents

- enemy opens door of curse
- guardians, etc
- we are to be careful what to say to our children, make sure that it edifies
and encourage them, not put curses upon them.
9. Curses Spoken by Oneself
 inner vows
 negative declarations
10. Curses Come through other people

HOW TO BE FREE:
 obey Him and commit yourself firmly to Him. Follow God, let His cross be
our victory.
Gal 3:13 Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law by becoming a curse
for us--for it is written, "Cursed is everyone who is hanged on a tree"--
 God wants to take away that curse.time to receive the blessing.God wants
to put your lives in order. so He can start to bless you..so you can handle the
great blessing.
 ITS time to receive the blessing!
Gal 3:14 so that in Christ Jesus the blessing of Abraham might come to the
Gentiles, so that we might receive the promised Spirit through faith.
Gal 3:15 To give a human example, brothers: even with a man-made
covenant, no one annuls it or adds to it once it has been ratified.
Gal 3:16 Now the promises were made to Abraham and to his offspring. It
does not say, "And to offsprings," referring to many, but referring to one,
"And to your offspring," who is Christ.

 It's so important to understand that the Lord has established a line of

blessing.the blessing is for the first=born. his seed - Christ, then we are co-
heir.
 The curse can be broken off, and the blessing can be received, but we are
not to do nothing. we are to do something. Jacob had to fight many battles
before he saw the benefits of the blessing come to pass.
 He wrestled, and beheld the face of the Angel of the Lord, the curse that
had been upon his life was transformed into a mightly blessing.
end:
 The blessing is always more powerful than the curse.just like light is more
powerful that the darkness.
 When we focus on our circumstance that seem hopeless, we live under the
power of the curse. But if we starting turning our eyes to the Cross, to the
revelation of what Jesus has accomplished in the cross, the curse will be
turned into a blessing.
 As light overtakes darkness, so as blessing of God overpowers the curse
upon our lives. We experience this when we commit ourselves to God. He
commits Himself to us. God will establish the same covenant He established
with Abraham, to you and your decendants.
 Deu 30:6 And the LORD your God will circumcise your heart and the heart
of your offspring, so that you will love the LORD your God with all your heart
and with all your soul, that you may live.
