HOW to SELL YOUR NFTs • FREE Guide by NFTGallery

To begin with, we want to make a clarification. This is a small FREE VERSION of our “HOW
to SELL YOUR NFTs • COMPLETE Guide by NFTGallery” guide. You can buy the complete one in
the following link: nftgalleryguides.com. We assume that the one who is reading this has one
or more NFTs created or is willing to create them. This guide and tips will be extremely useful
especially for the ones who have or will have a GOOD, NICE and DEVELOPED project. By this, we
mean that we expect you to have a decent NFT project that is lacking interest from collectors
not due its quality but its recognition. If that’s your case, this guide will start helping you in the
mission to achieve the audience your collection deserves and reach your buyers, investors and
collectors. If you lack confidence in your NFTs, we highly recommend you to start with our guide
“HOW to CREATE a SUCCESSFUL NFT PROJECT” and once you have a project you believe in and
consider it’s ready to skyrocket in sales, then consult this one. Moreover, if your NFTs are
extremely good, but are priced wrong, they won’t sell. So be careful with the ambition you have
on the floor price when you are starting to get traction on your project. We explain this better in
our guide, “HOW to PRICE your NFTs”. We want to highlight that so no one loses their time trying
to sell something they are not even comfortable with. This guide will help you maximize your
time with efficient ways to get your project in the eyes of everyone and catch collector’s
attention. The level of complexity of the subjects addressed in this guide will vary, we want it to
be a beginners’ friendly guide but also a complete one that helps even the most experienced
creators out there.
First, let’s start with one BIG MUST, you MUST create a Twitter account. Most artists
believe that minting their NFTs on big marketplaces such as OpenSea, Rarible, Tezos,
Foundation or any other popular platform you might know will do all the marketing work to get
their collections to the eyes of buyers. This is obviously wrong and can be easily demonstrated
by statistics that show that over 90% of the minted NFTs on these websites have never been
sold nor bid on. Why does this happen? Easy, supply and demand. On the current NFT market
(JUNE 2022), there is an overwhelming amount of artists creating hundreds of thousands of
pieces a day and the demand from collectors, investors and buyers in general are not close to
the growing amount of artwork created. So, how can you make your pieces stand out from the
millions of others? Well, first, you NEED to create a Twitter account as we mentioned before.
Why Twitter? Well, that’s a good question. To begin with, this social media platform has
lots of useful tools to quickly spread any content in it. Through retweets, you can appear in the
feed of millions in a quarter of a second. The difficulty of it is getting those retweets in the first
place if you have no following background. But don’t worry, we will teach you some key factors
to start building a loyal following and engage with your growing community in our complete
guide. First, make sure you set up your profile correctly. Get yourself a good profile picture,
header, organize your biography, and choose wisely the link/s that you will attach to it. The links
you should include in your social media accounts is a great subject to discuss. There is a high
chance you accessed this course by clicking a bio.link. This is a great website to include as
many links as you want. We highly recommend you to use it if you have more than 3 relevant
links to include. For example, if you are on Twitter, but you want to redirect people to your

Instagram and your collections on different platforms such as OpenSea and Rarible, bio.link or
linktr.ee are the perfect fit solution for you. On the opposite side, if you only have Twitter and
want to redirect people to your only collection on OpenSea, just include that link in your
biography or website spot, it will do the work.
Once you have your account set up (and this applies to all the other social networks
you have and want to use for NFTs) what you want to do is start following other artists,
collectors and NFT related people you know, admire or want to network with. Don’t worry if you
don’t know many of them, usually the platform will suggest some users for you to follow.
Moreover, you will discover more people in the way while you enter different conversations and
start engaging with the community.
Focusing on Twitter, because this is the main platform where NFT related stuff usually
happens, you want to AVOID SPAMMING. The community is filled with spammers and doesn’t
need more of them. If you want to stand out from the masses, avoid this. How do I get people
to see my NFT then? Well, we will leave that for the complete guide, but let us give you a hint:
IT’S NOT SPAMMING.
As regards hashtags, USE HASHTAGS, Twitter recommends you to include two hashtags
per tweet MAXIMUM.
Here you have the most powerful two hashtags that you can use (you will find more on the
complete guide):
● #NFTCommunity
● #NFTs
No matter what platform you are working on, please DON’T HUNT COLLECTORS. AVOID
spamming their DMs, their comments or any other communication channel you have with
them. Begging for them to buy your NFTs WON’T WORK, you will just ANNOY THEM.
Many of you are probably already on many NFT Discords, but did you know almost all
mainstream marketplaces, such as OpenSea, Rarible and others have an official Discord
server? Well, if you did not, we are glad that you are reading this. JOIN THE PLATFORM’S
DISCORD. You will find the links in the bottom of their websites, we will leave you some of the
links of the most known platforms anyway, so it’s easier for you.
Links to two of the most popular marketplace’s Discord servers (you will find more on the
complete guide):
● OpenSea - https://discord.com/invite/opensea
● Rarible - https://discord.com/invite/cdaFbV5
DON’T SPAM. We can’t stress this enough, we have mentioned it before in this guide,
but we want to emphasize it. Share your work in the channels we mentioned before and any
others you know, but don’t do so more than once or twice MAXIMUM per day! Your objective is
to build connections with artists and collectors, not to ANNOY them! You will be noticed with
time, patience is key in the NFT space.

We mentioned communities all over this guide, because building your own will be the
key to success in this space, as well as being part of the whole NFT community itself. But when
we talk about communities, there is not a better place for it than Reddit!

guide):

Moreover, Instagram is the best place to post visual artwork or visual content itself, but
in this case, the NFT space case, it has lots of pros and cons. Beginning with the pros, art can be
really engaged and promoted by Instagram’s algorithm if done correctly. We won’t dive into
the algorithm because it’s being changed actively. We highly recommend you to study this
from YouTube videos and Instagram’s algorithm experts. This is a great way to promote
yourself if you don’t want to spend a lot of time a day to post the recommended 24 tweets a
day that the average Twitter user needs to post in order to be noticed in a significant way. As
regards the cons of Instagram, we will leave them exclusively for the complete guide. We also
recommend you to use hashtags on Instagrams, the same you use on Twitter will work, but we
suggest you to use 8-10 per feed post here.
If you are on Facebook, there are also groups and pages where you can do this too. As
we are not users of this platform, we won’t go in depth about this, but the strategy is the same
on all platforms (we go in more depth about the strategy in the whole complete guide)
Twitter spaces and apps we mention in the complete guide, are also a great place to
talk about yourself and your project. These voice chats and any others that you might know
have groups and communities that talk about NFTs. There are some of them that will give you
a space to talk about what you do and collectors will be hearing! So these are also great
places to connect with others and get your work out there!
It’s hard to imagine how you can promote your work via YouTube videos if you don’t
have a following on that social media beforehand. However, we share some tips on how to
succeed on this platform and Twitch on the complete guide.
PROMOTIONS. So, promoting your work is also an effective way of reaching collectors.
But please read this section of the guide carefully, because this can be a dangerous place
where you can lose time and money. First, what do we mean by promotions? Everything we
have talked about in this guide works to promote yourself. But, in this specific case, we want to
talk about other ways where others promote you. The most common places to do so are social
media’s default advertising system. Well, we don’t recommend that, as Twitter, for example, is
not capable of showing the NFTs only to collectors. They will show it, in a best case scenario, to
people interested in NFTs as a topic. This means, most of the users that will see your post
through this promotion service won’t be interested in buying NFTs. Based on statistics, it’s very
known, as we mentioned before, that the market right now is overflooded with NFT artists and
creators and has a scarcity of collectors, investors and buyers in general. So, this is not the best
way to promote your work. What about NFT accounts, and the “NFT Promoters” or “NFT
Influencers”? Well, you have to be very careful when going into these dangerous fields. Most
NFT Promoters, shillers and even ones who proclaim themselves as buyers are fake or

scammers in the worst case scenario. If you are going to work with any of these accounts,
please check their following on third party websites like “SparkToro” where you can see if the
vast majority of their followers are real or fake. Moreover, ask them for other client’s reviews
and their monthly and tweet’s statistics. Check everything is as legit as possible, look for as
many red flags as you can. We explain how to detect scammers and fake accounts in more
depth in our guide on “HOW to AVOID NFT SCAMS”, but we wanted to point this out anyway
here. We, NFTGallery, offer a service of promotions to our community. If you are willing to know
more about this, please DM US ON TWITTER and we will gladly show you all our plans and
options. However, we only recommend you to promote your work to get your first sales, or
some extra ones to build traction on your project, not forever. This is a good way to start
skyrocketing your collection. We also recommend you to do this only if your project is good
enough, obviously. Don’t spend money on a half-ass worked project, it probably won’t sell
anyway. We talk more about how to build a successful NFT project on other guides as we
mentioned before, but you probably can tell if your project is really outstanding or not for
yourself. This was the only section we didn’t leave anything out from the complete guide, it is
important that you stay away from fraudulent accounts.
We want to share another underrated and useful tool that might help you in this
journey. This platform that we share in the complete guide will help you unify all your artworks
or collections in one website. If you are an artist that has NFTs on OpenSea, Rarible and
Foundation at the same time, you probably struggle on showing people all of your pieces. Well,
NO MORE! With this website you can have them all in one place! The website’s URL and name
can be found on the complete guide as we mentioned before.
Last but not least, enjoy the process, and as we mentioned before, don’t act desperate
to sell your artworks. If it’s good enough, it will sell eventually. Trust the process. If you don’t
really love your project, then you might have to question what you are doing by trying to sell it.
If you are in it only for the money, well, things might be a little bit harder for you. The important
thing here is, that whatever you are here for, you have patience and understand what it takes
to achieve your objectives. If you do follow this guide (and the complete one that will help you
even further), and respect the timings for each thing, we are sure you will get to sell your
amazing work. That is how we did it ourselves! And how many others did it too! The complete
guide was not only based on our experiences, we researched lots of other successful NFT
artists and collectors to bring to you the most powerful guide out there. Once you are a
renowned artist, selling will be just one of your daily notifications.
We want to wish you the best in this journey, not good luck, because you won’t need it if you have
