Let's learn how to edit photographs
in Canva.
The skills you'll be learning include:
Adding Stickers to photographs
Adding Text to photographs
Creating Overlays
Add stickers to match the emotion of JOY.
Stickers
Drag them to the photograph.
Stickers add fun graphics to an image.
They can help emphasise the mood or
emotion in the photograph.
To find stickers, search in the graphics
tab in Canva elements.
Text Use to the text tool to describe the emotion in
this photograph.
Text can be used to express ideas,
emotions or add extra information in a
photograph.
Follow these steps to add text:
1. Click the “text” in the side toolbar.
2. Selecting the purple "add a text
box" button.
3. When the text box appears on your
page, add your text.
4. Finally, move the text to where
you'd like it to appear on the image Add your text here!
Overlays
Overlays are an editing method that combines
two different photographs.
You can create overlays by first removing the BACKGROUND REMOVED
background of one of your images. To do this,
1. Select your image.
2. Select "Edit Image" in the top toolbar.
3. Select the " Background Remover " tool that + =
appears in the side bar. This will remove your
background.
4. Now, add your edited image to another photo.

Tip: Make sure your first image it positioned to the front!

1 Overlay this photograph with another

2 Use 2 stickers to emphasise the
feeling of JOY.
3 Then add text to your artwork.
