applicable to various IT roles and effectively address network-related challenges
and optimize IT technologies.
Vocational scenario
You have been hired by as an IT Support Engineer by a Myanmar
Networking Solution development organisation to provide assistance to our
company. Your supervisor has assigned to you a new project of City School
International Institution LAN which incorporated as fallows:
Academic Department, Sales & Marketing, Student Affair & Admin, HR and
Finance.
People: 100 students, 12 teachers, 6 marketing and administration staff, 5
higher managers including the head of academics and the programme manager,
3 computer network administrators.
Your responsibility and undertaking daily operation support of IT system to
ensure the integrity of high availability network infrastructure to provides
maximum performance for the user’s requirement on a project for City School
Educational institution. You will need to analyse the specification from the
institution below for completion of this project within a given timeframe:

The network consists of Server:
¨ Web server that is used for city School Education website. DNS server
that is used to resolve naming service. https://www.cityschool-
education.com.
Buildings: 3 floors, Academic Teachers, Student Affair & IT Department are
located on the first floor and HR and Finance are located on Second Floor
remaining departments are located on the ground floor.
Given the above scenario, produce a report and design solution that includes:
The company will be using a private IP address and you are required to design
and implement a network according to the responsible for implementing,
maintain, supporting, developing and in some cases, designing communication
networks within organisation. Your prototype must be accompanied by written
material that explains how your networking solutions can increase and
scalability as well as address issues of reliability and availability implemented
where possible. You need to provide and reports the solution for this network
and testing the test plan for efficient network design.
Part 1 Design efficient networked systems
• Prepare a written step-by-step plan of how you are going to design a
Local Area Network.
• Justify your choice of devices for your network design.
• Suggest a maintenance schedule to support the networked system.
• Produce a optimise to analyse this design for the requirements of
improvement efficiency as per user specifications.
Part 2 Implement test and diagnose networked systems
• Implement the local DNS services and local website for advertising your
company products.
• Record the test results and analyse these against expected results.

• Recommend potential enhancements for the networked systems to the
above scenario.
And finally, use critical reflection to evaluate the network system, security
requirements and quality of services needed for enhance the valid conclusions.

1. You need to written the document and maintain accurate records of
technical issues, resolutions, and troubleshooting steps.
2. You need to Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, software
applications, printers, and peripheral devices.
3. Document changes made to the network (LAN) architecture and manage,
configure Cisco router and switches.
4. You need to be network addressing & server equipment installation and
configuration.
5. Pro-active monitoring of network performance on day-to-day basis.
6. You need to install, configure and manage virtual servers and cloud
services.
7. You should be setup Perform system upgrades, patches, and software
installations, ensuring compatibility and adherence to company policies
and procedures.
8. You need to maintain an up-to-date inventory of hardware and software
assets with the ensure network availability and integrity network
architecture.
9. Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends to
provide suggestions for continuous improvement.You need to produce
clearly the purpose technical report, which is to demonstration to show
the satisfactory performance of both solution Evidence systematically
of student’s should have acquired.
