SASMO is a math Olympiad contest that stretches not only the brightest students but is aimed at instilling confidence for all students.

The contest is designed in a way to make every student love Math again. SASMO contest fits nicely into the school curriculum with a high focus on non-
routine problem sums – preparing for SASMO contest helps students prepare for the JEE and National & International Olympiad level exams.

MODE OF EXAM- ONLINE

OBJECTIVE

ASMO is designed for the top 40% of students, with the goal of sparking their curiosity in mathematical problem solving. It aims to nurture mathematical
intuition, reasoning, and the development of logical, creative, and critical thinking skills.

FORMAT OF THE TEST

SASMO is open to all 1 to 12 students from all National & International schools. The duration of the test is 90 minutes for all grades. Each level has a
differentiated paper and contains 25 questions within 2 sections:

Section A: 15 Multiple Choice Questions (2 points for each correct answer; 0 point for each unanswered question; deduct 1 point for each wrong answer)

Section B: 10 Non-routine Questions (4 points for each correct answer; no penalty for wrong answers)

Total: 85 points (to avoid negative scores, each student will begin with 15 points)

GOLD AWARD
SILVER AWARD
BRONZE AWARD

The top 40% of the participants will receive an award certificate and a medal (Gold for top 8%, Silver for next 12% and Bronze for next 20%).

Perfect scorers will receive a Perfect Score Award and $100 voucher, up to a maximum of $5000 for all the perfect scorers. In the rare event when there are
more than 50 perfect scorers, the $5000 will be divided among all the perfect scorers.

Competition Date: 2nd Week of April 2025

Registration fee- ₹750

"Students currently in classes 6 to 10 are requested to enter their respective next class in the appropriate section. For instance, a student in class 6 should
select class 7."
