 Supervise a team of electrical in carrying out corrective routine maintenance, periodical.
 Carry out corrective, preventive, periodic maintenance activities as per the schedule to keep all the
factory equipment in perfect condition.
 Indulge in Electrical PM activity of Blowers, HVAC, Compressor, Chiller, and Fans.
 Indulge in Electrical Preventive Maintenance activity (Monthly / Quarterly / Half Yearly /
annually) of Rotating machines (Pumps & Motors) - Visual inspection, Insulation resistance test,
winding resistance test, alignment checking and parameter checks.
 Indulge in electrical preventive maintenance activity of Generator, Switchgear, Circuit Breakers
(SF6,VCB,ACB), Switches (LV/MV), Grounding, Cables, Switchboards, Motor control center (MCC),
Bus bars, Cable trays, Lighting and Receptacles.
 Indulge in electrical PM activity of Transformers i.e., visual inspection, thermal imaging, checking
rated voltage, current & temperature, oil level (tank & reservoir), alarm / trip circuit, silica gel
condition, Buchholz relay and Perform Testing procedures of Transformer.
 Indulge in PM of UPS system, Capacitor bank, Cathodic Protection, Heat Tracing and VFD.
 Indulge in PM activity of All Type of Protection Relays motor protection relay, transformer
protection relay, generator protection relay, differential relay and REF relay.
 Indulge in electrical preventive maintenance activity of Blowers, HVAC, Compressor, Chiller.

 Excellent knowledge of electrical circuits as applied to injection molding machines.
 Carry out corrective, preventive, periodic maintenance activities as per the schedule to keep all the
factory equipment in perfect condition (Injection & Blow Molding Machines).
 Indulge in preventive maintenance of Generator and uploading the running log.
 Supervise a team of electrical Technicians in carrying out corrective & routine maintenance,
periodical verification and verifying procedures to ensure they are operating safely.
 Verification of filed / DCS alarms and rectifying it.
 Updating / Verifying / Closing the completed preventive maintenance activity in dynamics with his
action done on equipment's, technician handled for history and reliability.
 Indulge in doing corrective maintenance for undefined breakdown of equipment's.
 Carry out trouble shooting of routine/non-routine equipment failure, Cause analysis and reliability
audit as required.
 Indulge in initiating MOC (design, detailed drawing, QC/QA of materials and PSSR) for equipment's
which has regular breakdown.
 Ensure all tools and test equipment is available for work team to execute the daily activities.
 Supporting technical team to prepare Inspection Test Preventive Maintenance Plans (ITPM's) for all
critical equipment's as per NFPA70B includes.

Testing & Commissioning - Roles & Responsibilities:

 Inspect and ensure all construction activities are completed prior to taking up the system for
commissioning and ensure the setting up of safety procedures for the same.
 Testing of Current Transformers, Potential Transformers, Circuit Breakers, Busbars, Busducts,
Protection Relays, Power Transformers, Motors and Power Cables., etc.
 Testing and commissioning of Circuit Breakers (VCB, ACB, SF6 CB, MCCB, MCB) (Insulation
Resistance test, Contact Resistance Test, Timing Test, Hi-Pot test and check the closing & Tripping
circuit include cross verify.
 Pre & Final Commissioning of Motors, IR test and Winding Resistance test on Windings, Hi-pot test
on MV Windings, Motor Terminations & Groundings, Direction of Rotation, running test (Pre,
uncoupled, coupled), Fan’s air flow, Current (No load, starting & running), Tag details, Vibrational
reading, Noise, etc.
 Testing of Protection Relays such as Feeder Protection Relay, Motor Protection relay and
Transformer protection relay. Then doing relay co-ordination and start up protection settings.
 Testing & Final Commissioning of Transformer - Insulation Resistance test, winding resistance, no
load current / loss, Ratio test, tan delta test, Magnetic Balance Test, Vector group and Dielectric
Breakdown test. Include with alarm / trip circuit, silica gel condition, Buchholz relay, MOG, PRV, OTI,
WTI, on load tap changers.
 Checkouts for Commissioning which includes Visual Inspection, Insulation Resistance test (Cables &
Motors), Hi-pot test (MV Cables & Motors), Continuity test, Functional test of control systems and
Calibrations.
 Inspecting the phase orientation indicated in all buses/cables & direction of rotation is indicated on
all motors.
 Inspection, torque tightness of Busbar & Busduct and perform the testing (IR test, Contact
Resistance Test & Hi-pot test)
 Inspecting & Testing of feeder terminations (IR test & Hi-pot test - MV), MCB adjustable trip setting,
MCP & thermal overload relay setting, (Fuses, MCB & contactor) ratings, size & type, space heater
connections & MCCB (IR test).
 Inspection of Raceways, Wires, Cables, Lighting, Power Outlets, Cable Tray, Cable Support for proper
fixing and Ground Integrity.
 Comparing all Equipment's data Site acceptance test (SAT) to Factory acceptance test (FAT).
 Indulge in document of Testing, Commissioning Reports and Preparing Final QA/QC Dossiers.
 Planning & scheduling assignments to achieve pre-set goals within time parameters.

Construction / Projects - Roles & Responsibilities:

 Installation of HV, MV, LV panels, Transformers and Motors.
 Installation of cable trays (Electrical & Instrumentation).

 Cable laying and cable pulling activities in ground, air, and cable trays as per manufacturer standard.
